Nightcrawler Quiz

Myself? A score of 90. Missed #9 but I think my answer could have been correct. In fact two of the answers are correct depending
which way Kurt is teleporting. Up to 3 miles North to South and up to 2 miles East to West.
DID IT!

Scored a perfect 10 for 10! Although with question # 9 I kinda went against my instincts and answered a little conservatively.... :P

Cant say much more though without giving away the answer...:naughty

Same here, Ken: a score of 90. As usual, it was #9 that tripped me up, because of how the answer has changed over the years (and from writer to writer).
I remembered reading just recently that Kurt had a teleportation max of 1.5 miles, and earlier I read the max was 10 miles. And these were both "official Marvel sources". Sheesh!
I call BS - since I missed dreaded #9 as well. If anyone on the internet should be able to score a perfect 10 on that quiz, we should. QED, the quiz is broken :D

I got a score of 100, although I almost chose another answer for Q#9. I just took the question as asking
about his farthest possible limit, which I knew was 3 miles
Although I would entirely agree with Ken, the question could have be seen as misleading.

Thought I'd share my score, since everyone else seems to have had the same problem I did. I got 9 out of 10, and missed the teleportation question. I demand a recount! :P

Weeeee... Ten for ten. Can't remember where I recently saw the correct answer for the dreaded number nine, but it was somewhere in the not too distant past.

I got 100, but really only picked 3 because it was my lucky number, and I had seen somewhere it was 3 miles...what a cute quiz.

I've needed my fix lately...that did quite nicely.

I really wanted to pick Kurt Voooooooogner for the first one. So tempted. I like how it sounds. :D

Well, you're in luck then because that's exactly how Wagner sounds. German "w" is pronounced like English "v".

Hello! I just tried out this quiz, and I have a problem with number 9. It said the answer was three miles, but I know he can teleport four! I even looked it up to be sure I was remembering right, and I was. In Uncanny X-Men #420, Nightcrawler teleports from the roof of a church into the moving X-Plane--a distance of four miles. The scene started at the end of #419, so I'll quote the entire conversation straight from the comics.

UXM #419
Nightcrawler (on the church roof): Any X-Man out there with a communicator on?

Northstar (inside the X-Plane): Nightcrawler, it's Northstar! How far can you teleport?

Nightcrawler: About a half-mile if I push it. Why?

Northstar: Never mind. You're useless to me.

UXM #420 (inside the X-Plane)
BAMF!

Iceman: Pfeew! I smell Nightcrawler.

Nightcrawler (very much out of breath): Teleported--fourmiles, Northstar. Never--writeme--offas--useless.

Northstar: Done.

So the answer is that after years of training, Nightcrawler can teleport up to four miles. Based on this information, I don't think question #9 should count.
"There are worlds out there where the sky is burning, where the sea's asleep and the rivers dream, people made of smoke and cities made of song. Somewhere there's danger, somewhere there's injustice and somewhere else the tea is getting cold. Come on, Ace, we've got work to do."
~The Doctor, Survival

What? No question on what Kurt ate in issue 311? The horror of it all! :p

That's ok luvnightcrawler. I didn't do well either on the second quiz. Its probably because I left comics for 11 years and I missed a bit of MU history. Oh well.
