Fashionable late but adding my two cents.. i missed the good discussion like Jill hehe.Originally posted by Darick
What baffles me is that attitude that it will suck because they assume it will. I don't even take it personally. I just find it incredibly boring to post a negative review of something you haven't read
Well Darick, you're so right, its boring and useless making negative asumptions about a comic or a movie or whatever, why doing that? specially if it comes out and turns out to be incredible great.. that's a total waste of time.
I try not to be like that, i better wait till its out and check if i like it or not.

Man, I am working with some really talented people! Everybody's really giving 100% and it shows!
As for the other thing, I don't have a problem with anybody not liking my work and saying "I don't like that guy's stuff, so I won't buy it". That's like the cheesecake thing; you tried Cheesecake, it's not for you, I get it.
I don't have a problem with someone buying my work and then saying "I don't care for it, I won't buy future issues". That's giving it a shot, I get it.
But to make the case that something you haven't read is automatically going to be a failure, on the heels of saying it's something you're not interested in already, is just ignorant.
That said, I hope you fellow fuzzy blue elf fanatics are going to love this book as much as I am loving drawing it.

I don't know what the print run was. I would imagine they'd be optimistic about a new ongoing X- title though.
The reorder means Marvel is sold out, not your local dealer.

I've bought comics off of ebay. Gotta be careful tho because sometimes the condition is not what it says in the ebay add. They never tell you about slighty bent spines, little tears...very bad IMO. So I think I just may pick up a extra copy of Nightcrawler #1. In fact I know I will be picking up 2 copies of #3. I love that cover!Originally posted by Darick

I can't wait, it's almost here. I have my copy reserved at my local comic shop and I think my girlfriend has already placed an order in at Dynamic Forces. if not, it will be placed soon. I only wish it was your art on the cover, Darick, seeing how thats what is going to be seen, displayed in my room.
Thank you
Thank you

Whoa nice work Darick! My god Nightcrawler comes out next week right?
ok, I think I'll be picking up several copies of this issue. I'm hearing little voices in my head that say scans for Nightcrawler Heaven.

Woo! Cool! Someone put that kid out - he's on fire
I really like these. Kurt's footwear is especially neat - we never really get to see him wearing shoes, but Xavier's surely got enough $$$ to get him some special booties.

Thanks for noticing. I've been talking to Roberto about Kurt's shoes, and hoping to get a line of dialogue and a panel or two about how he gets them and where they come from. Lord knows he can't just pop down to Payless.
