Cocky Kidnapping

He had watched her for weeks after finding her at the Hellfire Club. Keeping up with her routine. Well, what her routine was anyway. Monet definitely had never been one to keep a strict schedule, but she was predictable enough sometimes. He had to wait until the time was right, otherwise she would snap his neck like a twig. Unfortunately, he didn't have any power suppression collars here in America so being careful was top priority. He wanted badly to get her back in his control, but not badly enough to die. Thankfully, he also had gained a few 'gifts' of his own along the way.

He had watched the students coming and going enough times to memorize the codes they punched in to undo the security, but he didn't really care all that much about the alarms. He would be faster than they would be. Marius slipped in through Monet's open window about two and a half hours after she had turned out the lights to go to sleep, making sure she was in a deep enough sleep to not feel his presence getting close to her. But then again, she'd not felt him at the Hellfire Club. Maybe he didn't have to be so careful after all.

As soon as he was next to her bed, he gave her sleeping form a confident smile. This would go smoothly and since no one knew about what happened to her here, no one would know to suspect. He pulled her covers off and pulled the chloroform soaked handkerchief from his pocket at the same time. She had just enough time to open her eyes and register who was standing over her before Marius covered her nose and mouth, laughing as her eyes rolled back in her head. Oh yes. Very smoothly. He scooped her up into his arms and made himself invisible as he walked out of her room and down to the front door. He looked back as he heard some people finally starting to figure out why the alarm was going off and he grinned as he slipped out the door and off of the property.

Oh my, I bet Monet is never going to book a vacation at that travel agency again...
