Is it just me, or...?

I was just looking around Thunder & Brimestone, and I noticed that there's an inconsistancy with the shade of Movie-Kurt's skin...

...Sometimes it's so dark, it's almost black, and other times, it's sorta dusky and almost as light as Evo-Kurt's fur.

I could be the lighting, but several of the screen-shots have similar lighting, but different skin tones. Is this just me, or can anybody else see it too?

I think it's a lighting thing. Lots light and direct light reflection angles give us a lighter Kurt, and lack of light, or yellow light (like the fire scene when Jean was looking into his mind) give us a dark blue to black Kurt.

It also could be improper color balance. This pic from the image gallery, I think, is the most correct skin tone for Kurt.

One thing I notice in nearly all the stills for Movie Kurt is, just like comic Kurt, his face is half in shadow.

Mmm. I love that pic.

But yes, lighting in movies can change just about anything, so I'm guessing that's what "inspired" the tone change.

When they were first designing M. Kurt, they were actually going to use Ultimate NC's look! Pants and all!

But, apparently, it would take too much time with the makeup.

Ooh..I have that pic when I went to the 1 dollar theater on like late August or something..they were like giving free postcards of all the characters where they were posing in side views so yeah..that's the kind of pic I had!!! They were all gorgeous in those!!!;)...and they were giving free dogtags too..

anywho, about the shadow thing..... i liked the way they made him look very mysterious (in the comics and the movie). almost like there's a part of him that he doesnt want anyone to see..... very mysterious.

I just find it ironic that to think that it's a 1-dollar theater, they were the one who's giving away such free goodies and not the expensive movie houses...LOL

As for the plush, I got him from Setsuna and Haruka Kou's Anime Specialty Shoppe. You can search for it on Google, it's the first link that comes up. He cost around 40 bucks, you can see him in their plush section under X-Men. He's the adorable X2 Kurt. ^^ I lovvvve him. His trench is so awsome...*babbles on*
