Well, to "step" on his tail, he'd be walking... So, I imagine the first thing that would happen is, he'd loose his ballance and fall over...
Since his tail is behind his legs, the most likely instance of this happenig is if he were to get startled and take a few steps backward, and accidently his tail gets in the way...

Poor guy... I wonder how serious broken bones in his tail would be, since it's a part of his spine... How would you form a cast for his tail? Would you have to put the whole thing in a cast? Could he still walk?

Well, only the part below where it was broken would be effected...

But to step on his tail, it would have to be low to the ground, ehn? I usually see him carrying it high. It's obviously that he can control his tail well, so I don't think he's likely to trip over it.

Then again, I think maybe getting out of bed, it'd get tangled O_o;

Lol! I follow people home, but I know them, and there is nothing wrong with writing slash! Or reading it...too bad the ones I found that are slash don't emphasize his tail as much as the hentai ones.

Slash is cool if is well writen, nothing gross, cheap or vulgar, it has to be tasty and with a good plot.

Anyway, I think Nightcrawler has too much control over his tail to step on it himself...but it must be excruciating if it got caught in machinery or stepped on by someone else...he would probably give anyone who trod on his tail an engmatic glowing yellow glare (

: ) while biting his lip (with his pointed teeth!) to stop himself from strangling the idiot for not watching where they were going. Now what if Wolverine accidently sliced it off with those mean ol' claws...(probably get Tetnis or something to start off with...)

Hey, I was just wondering if Kurt would ever accidently slam his tail in the door. My cat has had hers caught often enough, silly poor thing, so I'm sure it could happen! *winces at the thought*
