It was a year ago this weekend that Dave Cockrum passed away. I don't need to tell anyone here how important he was to the comic book industry, nor do I need to mention how gracious and helpful he was right here at his own forum. It was always fun to check in every so often and read what Dave had to say about life in general and comics in particular, and it was always a privledge to have direct access to the man who filled so many of our childhoods with joy. It's been a year since he passed away, but his memory lives on.
Gone, but not forgotten!

Pour some out for the father of the X-Men as we know them... God bless his soul. Keep paty in your thoughts as well. She's probably have a rough time this time of year.
