It's Not Delivery

Jules: Julie took her four pillowcases of perfectly measured out weed, in ziploc bags, and stuffed them into her chest at the end of her bed. She snapped the latch down, and then clasped the lock on. "Okay... combination... memorized. Coolies."

Jules: She stood up and rested her arms on her hips and looked down at her good work. "Now... test combination!" She promptly dropped back down to her knees and began to twirl the number dial on the lock. It didnt' work. She tried the digits again. "SHIT!"

Jules: She pulled hard at the lock. "Shit, shit, SHIT!" She zipped out of the room. "Halp!"

Jason: "Oh God, who's blown up now?" Jason looked up at the ceiling from the kitchen as he heard someone zipping about. He and his pilfered Chinese food slipped into the hallway, curious despite his better knowledge.

Jason: He considered just going to the door. It would be easier and would definitely make his life easier.

Jules: Julie's jaw dropped when she saw the face that stuck out in the hall. "Oh,... well... maybe not you." She looked around and shouted again, "Anyone good with locks? Or like....telepathy?"

Emma: As Emma walked down the hall she heard Julie whining something about needing a telepath. She noticed Jason with his Chinese food and laughed. "So, someone say a telepath was needed?"

Jason: "Well, good to know I'm wanted and needed." Jason smirked, shaking his head as he observed Julie shouting about. "Now what did you do?"

Jules: "I may or may not have locked up all my entire in my foot-locker and totally forgotten the combination..." Julie admitted, looking to the floor with a frown.

Emma: Emma gave a snerk. "Well, then it seems I'm your best bet. Mister illusion over there could only give you some unwanted sarcasm." Emma said looking over to Jason. "I'll help I guess. If things don't work I can diamond up and smash the damn lock if you want."

Jason: "Unwanted? When is it ever unwanted?" Jason was going to follow along no matter if he was asked for assistance or not. "In any case, I do want to watch things that aren't me get smashed."

Jules: "I just... can't remember the combination... if you can do it without breaking anything, that'd be better."

Emma: Emma let out a small sigh. "Fine no smashing isnt' as fun but I can get the password from you if you'll let me in." Emma said pointing to her head.

Jules: Julie thought about Emma... and how cunning she was. "Maybe we can just smash it and I'll think of a better place to stash my wee-..uhh.... weeeeerewolf novels."

Jason: "...Weerewolf novels?" Jason's exaggerated e was accomoanied by a very high eyebrow and him crossing his arms over his chest. "Well, now i know I'm coming along."

Emma: Emma just looked from Jules to Jason and started to smile. "Well alrighty then, smashing it is." Emma said as her skin started to transform into diamond. "Point me the way to the lock please."

Jules: Julie blew out some air, impressed with th diamond. "Uhh... " She looked to Jason and whispered, "Y'ain't gonna chip some of that off?"

Jason: "As I said, I want things other than me smashed...though, Emma, if you ever need a haircut I recommend this form and we'll work something out."

Jules: Julie snickered and zipped off into her room. "Okay, you can smash the lock... but... if you could please then not talk about hat you see in the chest, that'd be super fantabulous." She smiled widely as she opened the door and let the two in.

Emma: Emma gave an odd look to Jules and shrugged. "Whatever is in your trunk is your business I don't honestly care. Though I can't say the same about Mr. Nosey over here." Emma said motioning to Jason.

Jason: "Oh, I definitely care but it's more for myself than anything I can do with it...unless it's truly amusing." Curiosity would eventually kill Jason, he was sure of that himself. "Bribery also works for my silence."

Jules: She looked to Jason with very serious eyes. "I'm not kidding... no one can know what's in there... I could... I could get serious jail time."

Emma: Emma rolled her eyes. "Well that's something you don't want to let Jason know about."

Jason: "Do I really look like someone who goes straight to the police with things?" He shook his head. "Though, will admit, wasn't joking about bribery."

Emma: "Well lets do this then." Emma said as she took hold of the top and bottom of the trunk and pulling them apart, destroying the lock.

Jules: "Oh, no!" She grabbed her hair and cried out in terror.

Jason: "Oh no what?" He looked confused, tempted to open things up himself just to kill curiosity.

Jules: Julie looked away and then back. "It's uh... It's bodies! Don't look, 'cause there's bodies!"

Jason: "...don't toy with me, woman."

Emma: Still holding the two parts of the trunk, Emma opened the trunk fully to reveal it's contents. "Oh.... wow." Was all Emma could say.

Julie: ".... Don't tell anyone. Please. Don't. I'll give you guys a discount. Hector, he sold it to me, practically gave me his business, I got so much now!"

Julie: "And no job! This is... this is just the only thing I got!"

Jason: "You....havehectorsstash." Jason was working on comprehending this. "You...Hector's stash...you." It just didn't seem right. It was perfect. "Oh I see a lot of baking in my future."

Emma: Emma smirked. "Well someone is turning into Nancy Botwin isn't she? I'm just in a bit of shock myself... you don't just scream pot dealer to me."

Julie: "That's why it's genius!" She said, smiling wide. "And yes, brownies. You didn't see all that baking I did when so many of us were decimated!" She rolled her eyes. "So many brownies and cookies!"

Jason: "When people offer me baked goods I generally am more occupied in asking people if it tastes like almonds. It wouldn't have occured to me you had friendly poison."

Julie: "The Devil's Lettuce is for good little boys... with money." She reminded Jason.

Emma: "Well isn't that just a little genius plan of yours. But sorry honey this is one girl who won't be a customer. Though don't worry about me, what you do is your business and it's none of my concern." Emma said shutting the lid to the trunk.

Jason: "I'm not sure whether I should quibble over 'little boy' or point out bribery should come in a discount."

Julie: "Bribery comes in many discounts. I do sales, seasonal ones too, I do bundles, package deals, and bogo's."

Emma: "Bogo's well isn't that... affordable." Emma said with a shrug.

Jason: "In any case, it'll be a pleasure doing business with you...I suppose you do make runs fast, huh?"

Julie: "Fast? I have a delivery guarantee. I'm motherfuckin' DiGiornio's baby!"

Sandwiches & N00bs

Julie: Julie laid out the deli meats on the kitchen table and the three types of cheeses. Then she inspected her various types of bread. She had wheat, white, rye... that was it. "Where's the flat breads?"

Michael: Micael stumbled into the kitchen accidentally. He had no idea where he was going or what he was even trying to do. God it's hard to find your way around when you can't tell where anything is. I hate being blind. He tried to feel around for some thing to hold onto or sit on.

Julie: Julie meeped at the random firm squeeze on her bum. "Whoa-there!"

Michael: "Oh uhmm sorry! I swear I didn't mean too." Michael backed up into a cabinet making it clatter loudly.

Julie: She snorted. "It's alright! I've heard my booty is irresistible." She laughed. "I'm making sandwiches, would you like some?" She froze at the realization this was a new face. "Whoa! You're a newb! Hai, newb!" She put her hand out for a shake.

Michael: "Uhmm yeah I'm new. And I don't think I'd be a very good judge of that." Michael tried to get his bearings of the room, while trying to find something to lean up against.

Julie: She let her hand drift back down to her side as her sense of sight told her the obvious. "Oh... uh... whoa." Dude's blind.

Julie: "Uhm... uh... here...." She pulled a stool out and patted it, loudly, for him to know where to sit. "Nice stool right here, bout two feet high."

Michael: Michael walked over and felt for the stool. When he found it he sat down and faced the direction that her voice was comming from. "Thanks. I'm Michael."

Julie: "Oh, well hey Michael!" She smiled, and then didn't, realizing that of course he can't see it.

Julie: "Michael, I'm making a sandwich, would you like one? I got turkey, roast beef, pastrami, and ham."

Michael: "No I'm fine." He rubbed the back of his head. "So... who are you?"

Julie: "I'm Julie! Jullie Power. I'm a student, obviously." She said, choosing rye bread and pulling out two slices. Then, with her hands flying across the bags of meat and bread and toppings, her sandwich was built in a matter of seconds, stacked and cut perfectly.

Michael: "So what can you uhmm do?" He felt around trying to figure out what was around him.

Julie: She slid the bowl of fruit towards him. "I'm fast." Putting the now finished sandwich to her mouth, she took a large bite.

Michael: He caught the bowl as it slid to them. Only noticing it by the sound it made and the flash of plant life from inside it. "Oh cool. It wouldn't be too good if I had that power. I'd be running into a lot of things. More than I already do. Especially when I forget my staff."

Julie: "You have a staff!?" She asked excitedly. Flashes of "Quest for Camelot" blared in her mind. "Like every tree! Stands on its own!"

Michael: "What?" Michael looked over in her direction. "Uhmm yeah I have a staff for helping me walk."

Julie: "Oh!.... Right... walking, whoops. Guess there's no rolling of the D-20 for you, huh?" She realized that the joke was not only hard for regular people to grasp, but now she was really reaching by talking to a blind person. "I'll shut up."

Michael: "You're fine. I'm just a little uhmm. On the slow path.
Been that way all my life. Being blind kinda sucks that way." He lifted up an apple and tried to play with it trying to will it to grow.

Julie: "What'cha doin' with the apple there? You got a good handle on it!"

Michael: "I can feel it and usually I can make plants grow. I've never tried it on an apple that's been off the tree for so long though." A leaf slowly grew out of the stem of the apple. "Ha it worked."

Julie: "Whoa! Whoa! Holy heck! Jeebus Christmas!" Julie covered her mouth to keep any swears from leaving it. "How?!'

Michael: "I don't know. I guess it's part of my mutation. I can sense plants and animals. Tell them what to do. make plants grow how I want. Stuff like that." He took a bite out of the now fresher apple. "Helps me always get a fresh ripe apple."

Julie: "Wow! That's... damn... You got the Heart Ring?!"

Michael: "What?" Michael set the apple down. "I uhmm don't have any ring... and the only heart I have is this one." He put his hand over his heart.

Julie: "Awww.... totally something he would say too..." Julie half expected a monkey to peek over his shoulder. "So, Michael, how'd you get here?"

Michael: "Uhmm I think the girl who picked me up was Lorna. Her and uhmm two other people picked me up. One of them felt like she was an animal. But I don't know it was weird." He took another bite of his apple.

Julie: "Yeah, weird happens a lot here." She smiled happily. "Actually, when weird isn't happening, it's just plane strange. Or critically crazy."

Michael: "Hmm Idunno if that's good or bad." Michael finished off the apple and set it down. "So uhmm..."

Jules: "Yes, this place gets dangerously fun. Also, Popeyes fried chicken is down the block, so if you ever want some, lemme know. I'm a quick grub-runner."

Michael: "I perfer to go with freshed cooked stuff. Well actually I'm used to catching my own food..." Michael shrugged a little. "I've had fast food here and there but not in a long time."

Jules: "Oh, well... with me? Everything's fast food." She snorted. I'm on a roll lately!

Michael: Michael laughed a little. "Yeah guess it would be." He picked the apple back up and preceded to work the seeds out of it.

Jules: "Jeez... so.... you talk to vegetables... sorta? What do you do with them? Like... are you sorta like Poison Ivy from DC's Batman comics? 'Cause that shit's cool!"

Michael: "Uhmm I wouldn't know, I've never read comics, the whole being blind makes that hard. But I can control what they do and how they grow. I can do other stuff too." Michael rubbed his hands slowly, he'd never revealed so much to anyone other than his family and close friends.

Jules: She realized once again, she wasn't registering the blind-factor. Well, at least I'm treating him like a normal person, right? "Wow... that's uh.... that's friggin' nuts."

Michael: "Yeah. I usually use it to help figure out where I'm going and what's around me. Like feel where grass and roots and stuff are." He stuffed the seeds in his pocket after he managed to get them out.

Jules: "So you're gonna love the Green House we got here then, eh?" She smirked and finished her sandwich.

Michael: "Well over there it'd be easier for me to get around and such. I think the school might love the effect I have on it." Michael shrugged a little and scratched a spot on his chin.

Jules: "Oh, I'm sure Professor X is going to go nuts for you. He's been jibbering about his garden never having enough time to grow in between each crisis this school goes through." She laughed again at the thought of him practically standing in joy.

Michael: "Well things grow surprisingly fast around me as you saw." He moved his hands into his pockets not knowing what to do with them.

Jules: "Well, I assure you, it's gonna be beneficial around this place." Julie picked the meats and bread up, placing them back to their original places in or above the fridge, and then spun back to look at Michael. "So... you want me to go show you the Green House?"

Michael: "Uhmm sure. I should probably get my staff and Jacket though, well assuming it's outside." Michael stood up slowly.

Jules: "Oh, it is. Alright! green house time!" She shot up and zipped outside. "Oh wait!" She zipped back in. "Sorta forgot, you're kind of blind. Gotta keep that in mind. Ha! I rhymed! Ha! I did it again.... grind?" She snorted and opened the door for him to the halls.

Jules: "Let's gogogo!"

Michael: Michael followed her voice trying not to get too close. He didn't wanna grab or grope her accidentally again. "So... What do you like to do around here?"

Jules: "Run!" She shouted. "I mean... I'm a speedster, right?" She cackled and reached for his hand. "Adventure time, come on!"

Michael: Michael let her lead him down the halls. "Uhmm well I'm not that into running. I like taking my time in life. I mean we only get one shot at it. Gotta make the most of it."

Green Ideas

Jules: Julie opened the door to the green house and stepped aside to let Michael in. "After you."

Michael: Michael walked into the greenhouse slowly using his staff to feel where things were. "Thanks..."

Jules: "The sprinkler system is really cool! It has spritz, rainstorm, mist, and rainforest setting! Wanna see?" She zipped over to the button, blowing past Michael.

Michael: "Uhmm it's a little cold outside to get wet." Michael moved closer to the door frame hoping to stay away from the sprinklers.

Jules: "Oh... okay." She shrugged. "So there's some venus fly traps in the back, I think someone here grows vegetables, and some jalapeños too... this guy Ben had a whole bunch of flowers and stuff. I don't grow marijuana here. Yet. I'm trying to find a way to hide it, and its obvious scent. I have yet to get my hands on a breed that doesn't smell like weed."

Jules: "However; I do know there is some out there, but no breeders or dealers seem to got it... none in this area at least."

Michael: "I wouldn't know, never ran across any of that." Michael walked past the plants slowly and felt the life force in them willing them to grow and move around a little.

Jules: "Hey... think if I brought some in... some seedlings that is, you could perhaps... uh... 'talk' to them?" She wanted to smile and bat her eyes, but she knew for sure now it was no use. "Uh... it would be really sweet of you. I can cut you some deal. 10% of sales if you convince them not to smell?"

Michael: "Uhmm I don't know if I can do that. I guess I could try. I've only ever tried making them grow or move." Michael moved closer to where her voice was comming from using the staff to feel where anything was.

Jules: "Neat-o! Well, feel free to reach around and make stuff grow flashier and fuller, or whatever. I know X has been moaning about some of his flowers failing him lately, especially the hanging pots."

Pietro: Pietro crunched across the snow covered lawn, careful to walk in snow that hadn't already been walked on to reduce the possibility of falling over. Sure, no one would probably see him fall over but snow was cold. He idly wondered if he could run fast enough to run on snow like he could on water or if it would just melt. Maybe he'd try it later. First he had to make it to the building and fetch his art supplies.

Jules: Julie looked through the tinted glass of the greenhouse and saw movement in the snow. Zipping to the counter, she peeked around the edge and smiled widely. She ran across the mounds of cold snow,

Jules: melting it beneath her feet. She stopped short, a bunch of white slush splashing past Pietro. She saluted him and shouted, "Wanna join us in the Green House?!"

Pietro: Pietro blinked, watching the snow fly past him. He turned back to Julie, "Huh? Green house? Uh... why? I'm not being pressganged into a party again, am I?"

Jules: "Come onnnnn! It's the holidays, don't be silly! I wanna see a friend and I got a new one in the Green House already, it's two stones with one bird!"

Michael: "What?" Michael walked up behind her and bumped into her accidentally feeling up her butt again. "Oh uhmm s-sorry."

Pietro: Pietro raised an eyebrow, "Er I think you may have got that... never mind..." he patted her gently, looking over to the new guy, "Oh a new student? Hi... I'm Pietro Maximoff."

Jules: "Oh, jeez!" Julie laughed and snorted. "It's alright! Honestly, at this point, you may as well make it your handshake for me." She nudged him and began to lead Pietro and Michael back. "We should try to make the flowers all bloom, throw Xavier way off next time he comes in!"

Michael: "Uhmm... I think that'd be a little awkward." Michael turned to Pietro. "Uhmm hi I'm Michael."

Pietro: Pietro again looked confused at Julie, before he quickly came to a conclusion that maybe she wasn't crazy and changed his mind about what to say next, "What do you do?" he asked Michael.

Michael: "Huh? I uhmm do a lot of things, breathe, eat... what do ya mean?" Michael tried to gauge where pietro was by his voice.

Pietro: "You're mutation," Pietro clarified, "I run and think stupidly fast," he added.

Oh I can do a couple of things, talk to plants and animals, make them do what i want, make plants grow. Uhmm some other stuff nothin big." Michael shrugged.

Jules: She tapped Pietro and whispered, "He's like Poison Ivy.... but a guy... and blind!"

Pietro: Pietro didn't know who Poison Ivy was but he'd noticed the other two already. He nodded, "Sounds... interesting..." he said.

Michael: "You know when you're blind and stuff you're hearing and other senses get better. So, I heard that." Michael walked over to a patch of plants that weren't doing too well and started to gently inspect them with his hands.

Michael: As he ran his hands across them he urged them back to life. The plants slowly grew in response.

Jules: Julies hands played "Wipe-Out" on Pietro's shoulder as her smile grew and an ear piercing 'eep' sound came from her.

Jules: "Isn't it so cooool!?!"

Pietro: Pietro nodded, he had to agree it kinda was though he did wince at the squeak of excitement so close to his ear, "Professor Munroe's gonna love you...."

Michael: "Well most of the problem is a lot of plants in here are too close to each other. They're strangling each other out. Maybe if we got them some more room that'd help this out a little." He attempted to motion across the green house.

Jules: "Well how would you spread them out?" Julie asked.

Michael: "They just need more room so their roots can grow better." He walked past a few plants and urged a small bush to grow slowly making little black berry clusters apear. "Mmm I love mullberries." He took a few off and ate them.

Jules: She looked at all the containers of plants and frowned. Oh! She looked over to where he was and realized, duh, he was talking about the stuff growing in the ground. "I was gonna say, I can't really picture the stuff int he containers getting too tangled."

Pietro: "All I know about plants is that they're good for food or looking nice... and I know which ones work best if you want to press them so I'm not sure I'm a good person to help with... that..." he gestured at the plants.

Michael: "Eh, It'll take some time but I could probably fix this place up pretty well." He took a few more berries and ate them.

Jules: "If you did? I am pretty sure X would be eternally grateful."

Michael: "It'd give me something to do too." He pulled off another berry and popped it in his mouth.

Pietro: "Well... you have fun doing that... I'll just get on with what I was doing..." Pietro backed towards the door, "Need to check supplies before I go shopping..."

Jules: Julie looked to Pietro, an eyebrow raised, completely perplexed. "H'okay? Well I'll see you around then Cap'n AntiSocial!" She waved and smiled, then turned to Micahel. "Is it true music helps them grow faster and fuller? And if so, should I play some LL Cool J? Or Billy Joel?"

Pietro: "Anti Social? No, I just don't like spending too much time around plants in an enclosed space... And you're welcome to join me shopping if you're still convinced I'm being anti social, I never said it was a closed trip." Though it would mean he'd have to go again another day to get her something.

Michael: "Uhmm I wouldn't know I don't really do much with music. I just talk to them and make them grow." Michael shrugged.

Jules: "You should try singing to them! Maybe some Bee Gee's! JIIIIVE TALKIN'!" She danced and shook her hips around as if she was hula hooping. "Hey Pietro, you can leave and go shopping, or you can stick around and boogey with the petunias!"

Pietro: Pietro raised an eyebrow, "Uh... you really think I'm the type to 'boogie'?" He shook his head, "You have fun, I'll be in my room for a while if you change your mind about joining me.... maybe you should ask the plants what they wanna listen to?" he suggested.

Michael: "Plants don't usually have much thought. And when they do it takes forever for them to get to the point." Michael picked some more berries and then walked over to a few plants and made them grow turning into beautiful flowers.

Jules: "Jeez Louise." Julie said, aghast once again at his ability. "You know like... you would win every County Fair in the North East, right?" Then it hit her. "Ohmygosh. We could turn such huge profit! We could win awards, use it as a front for traveling! And you can speed-grow my hemp! OHMIGOSH!"

Jules: "Would you!?" She looked to him pleadingly. Then she remembered he's blind. She got on her knees. "Oh please, oh please! I need money so bad, and I don't want that Mob Boss to kidnap me again!"

Pietro: Pietro sneezed then eyed Julie's grovelling, "Good God, Julie, if you need money that badly I could give you a legitimate job..." he rolled his eyes.

Michael: "Uhmm... I have no idea whats going on here..... I'm just gonna go tend to the plants a little." He edged away towards the more "in need" plants and started urging them to grow.

Jules: She sighed. "No, it's okay Pietro. I got a business plan. It's legit. Well... as legit as something this legit can get."

Pietro: Pietro frowned, "Well, okay.... but please be careful..." he sneezed again, "And that's my cue to get the hell out of here before I go blind..."

Michael: "If you want I can make them stop releasing pollen so you can stay and enjoy them?" Michael kept tending to a few flowers that were in dire needs and for some reason had a tree growing out of the same plot as them.

Jules: "Not for good I hope! The poor guys!" Julie suddenly had a vision of Adriana's bees and Michael's flowers having a pollen war. "Whoaaaa..... crazy scenario...."

Pietro: Pietro blinked at Julie for a moment then looked back at Michael, "No, it's alright, I should be going anyway. Christmas presents won't buy themselves."

Jules: "Oh! I like tye-dye!" She called out.

Michael: "Uhmm Bye..." Michael found his way back over to Julie and whispered to her. "Who was that again?"

Jules: "Oh, that's Pietro! He's a quickie like me!" She realized how that sounded and shrugged. "He's fast paced. Jeez, is there anyway to say that-HE'S A SPEEDSTER!" She got up to her feet and nodded repeatedly. "Very fast. Probably faster than me... until I trip him." She cackled.

Michael: "That wouldn't be nice. So uhmm... what do you wanna do now?" Michael ran his hand through some different herbs that would smell amazing if let to dry.

Jules: "I say we flee to the inside of the house and re-ripen all the old fruit that no one eats so I can get my proper amount of sugar fo the day!"

Michael: "Uhmm okay? I'll need to go feed my Sugar gliders soon though." He walked over to where his staff was and grabbed it. "Shall we?" He motioned outside.

Jules: She felt an urge to sceam. She went with it. "SUGAR GLIDERS!? Ohmiflippingosh!" She leapt to her feet, zoomed tot he door, and swung it wide open. "Let's go find those darling little babies!"

Michael: "Uhmm.... I don't think you need any sugar... maybe some ritalin?" Michael cautiously walked past her.

Jules: "Sugaaaaaarr!" Julie shouted as she zipped across the lawn, her rainbow streak highlighting the snow pretty colors behind her as it reflected off the glassy white.

Winter 2012: Julie Power

Jules: Julie streamed into the hallway door from the front steps, slamming the door shut behind her, and locking it. She checked her watch. "11:30... good. That's good. I made it too fast, there's no way I could have been there and here." She let out a breath, one that felt like it had been held for hours.

Jason: Jason blinked as he heard things slam and click into place. Curious as always, he got up and followed the noise. "You know, usually it's better to make your alibi ahead of time."

Jules: "There was no time! He had a bat, I didn't expect that! I mean, trouble, sure, but a bat? A Louisville Flippin' Slugger? No way. Didn't expect it." She looked over to her left to Jason.

Jules: "Oh... you. You didn't see me, or just talk to me. And if some people of authority ever happen by or ask if you know me, you don't. Or you should hope not."

Jason: "...I should not be near as intrigued as I am. Nor should I encourage you to explain but still I do. Did a deal go bad on you or something? And don't worry, as far as I'm concerned I don't even know myself."

Jules: "Oh it went bad. It went south. It went sour. It went wrong. It was everything bad and worse." She frowned. "He took the money, drove off, naturally, I out ran his car, tried to pull him out... he did this." She showed her arm.

Jules: It was purple and swelling. "That's from the bat. I was able to fenagle it out of his hands but... he still has my money... and my weed. And my dignity."
Jason: "Oh you got royally hosed." Jason observed, taking the arm and turning it over. "Though lucky that's all he did really, you're going to end up dead if things go like that even more."

Jules: "Well I got no back up! It's just me! I'm the whole enterprise! I'm growing, I'm cutting, I'm selling, I'm doing recon and research! It's stupid! I got all these rules that I follow on staying out of trouble, and I still get whapped in the arm by a flippin' jerk-off FRATBOY!" She huffed.

Jason: "...wait, some undergrad that's favourite word is probably 'bro' did this?" Jason's lip quirked up slightly. "Oh, my speedy little friend, you need to get yourself some assistance and connections." He let her arm go. "Or at the very least someone to take hits for you or be intimidating enough it doesn't happen. No offense, but you're about as intimidating as a mouseketeer."

Jules: "Hey, I try! I wore the hoody, I had the boots on!" She pointed at her purple boots. "There's only so much I can do! And I don't see you trying to -" She stopped.

Jules: She gave him the elevator glance, slowly up and then slowly down. "... You. You! Ohmigosh! Why didn't I think of it?!"

Jason: "Trying to what? Because I can guarantee you I cannot pull off those boots."

Jules: "You! You say I need someone intimidating! You can make people think a woodpecker is Falcor the dragon! You! You're the muscle! You're the next piece in the operation!" She got on one knee and quickly slipped into her hoody-pocket and pulled our two twenties.

Jules: "Jason, will you do me the honor of being my partner?" She held the twenties out to him as if it were a ring.

Jason: "Your...partner? I'm not so sure on that one." He leaned back, tapping his chin. "I mean, it's not really something I've ever considered."

Jules: "Of course not! 'Cause you've never had the opportunity!" She winked at him. "Certainly not like this! So come on!"

Jason: "I all ready do industrial espionage, another illegal occupation might be setting a pattern."

Jules: "Patterns are good for you. Practice makes perfect." She winked. "I don't really wanna be on my knee all night here, dear. Can you back me up or no? I'll train you, I promise."

Jason: "Train me to get used as batting practice for the head of academic probation?"

Jules: "Yeah. Trained to be used as batting practic-No Jason, of course not! I mean I'll train you in how to not get caught! And ... I'll totally break with you. 60/40?"

Jason: "Exactly how much do you clear? My current job is considerably lucrative...though offers a flexible schedule I could maybe take another."

Jules: "Well, on a good week, I have enough to buy the Vespa I'm getting next week, brand new. Custom." She winked. "And a bad week? I got pizza for everyone at the school who is here during Christmas break, remember? Those five boxes of extra large from Giovanni's?"

Jason: "And, general projections, how much do you think you would make with help?"

Jules: "Do you want a custom Vespa? 'Cause I'm thinking if we have muscle to hold down the people who are getting away? I mean the guy tonight owed me four hundred solid on the spot. That's the third this month. Third. That type of sale too. Always that type of sale."

Jules: "I never get runners for a small ounce-bounce, y'know? I sell it rolled too, and they don't even ditch for those. And who pays for pre-rolled? You always get jipped!" She snorted.

Jason: "I can't say as I have ever wanted a Vespa of any make." He chewed his lip, mulling the idea over in his mind.

Jules: "How's about I front you this week's as if you worked, being it's already Friday? So it'll be like you made the last four sales that I got 'dissed on. Monday's, Tuesday's, and Thursday's. That's half of three four hundred dollar sales, I have the cash in my vault. I can always hold off on the Vespa." She hoped she was getting her desperation across.

Jason: "...I've got an idea." Jason templed his fingers, smirking slightly into them.

Jules: "Oh.... Okay?" She thought for a moment about how bad this idea could be.

Jason: "Why don't we go pay your fratboy a housevisit and get your money, call it a test run on how well we work together?"

Jules: Julie bit her lip and looked down at her knees. Then rising off of them and to her feet, she looked to Jason. "I.... am so for that. I know exactly what college he goes to and everything!" She clapped excitedly. "Will you, really!?"

Jason: "Let's just say this affords me the chance to experiment with something I've not been able to do...and the money'll come in handy to be sure."

Jules: "Fo'sho!" She saluted him. "Now, if we do this, we have to play my dealer jams in the car. That's just how I roll. Kid CuDi, Snoop, MGMT, there's a number of good jams to choose from."

Jules: Digging into her jean pockets, she whipped out a piece of paper. "Empire State University, Sigma Pi House, he's room 210". She chuckled. "This'll be good. What're you gonna do!? Turn him into a duck!?"

Jason: "...Unless you want me to test these things out on you I suggest we 'roll' silently." Jason cringed at the song choices. "And, unfortunately, I don't have the same kind of talent as Kevin so I don't think I can turn him into a duck...I could make him think I did, however."

Jules: "Aww! But it's my phat beats!" She whined. "Fine, but when we're ridin' dirty, we have to. Ridin' dirty means holding, transporting, and escaping the law." She winked. "Okay! Let's do this! But wait!"

Jules: She stopped and held her hands out in front of the door, as if blocking his exit. "You can't go anywhere until you've watched some training videos."

Jason: "...there are training videos?" Jason couldn't help it, absolutely intrigued as to what on earth she could possibly be talking about.

Jules: Julie zipped off, her rainbow blazing brightly behind her as she dashed into her room, yanked out the DVD sets, and zipped back down to her place before the door. "Weeds. Season one, two, three, four, and five. You need to know what you're up against."

Jason: "...I'm up against the writers union and HBO?"

Jules: "You'll understand when you watch the show. Honestly, I'm afraid to watch the final season. I am secretly petrified they all die, and I don't want that happen to me. We're starting small, just like she did. Weed. The operation has potential to grow, but it shouldn't. I based all my rules off of her mistakes. And there's a lot of 'em."

Jules: "Never deal to kids, gangsters, Mexican gangsters or Russian, start small, don't deal to friends, introduce them to your supplier. Grow your own stuff, control your own market, always be a 'thug', and have friends in Law Enforcement. But not drug using friends."

Jules: "And don't ever upgrade. Weed is nice, special brownies are grand. Cocaine? Gun trafficking? Coyote'ing people over the border? That's stuff for the pros."

Jason: "Some of those ideas are a bit on the special side." Jason arched an eyebrow. Well, some television viewing wouldn't melt his brain at least.

Jules: "And yet you never know when you'll be asked to do favors for people 'cause you didn't cut them the right leaf or some nonsense like that! Trust me, always be prepared. If you have a rule for everything, everything will be easy. Ask the Transporter."

Jason: "...you do favours? What's this now?" Jason looked at her quite confused.

Jules: "I don't... but if I start dealing to someone big-time? And this person thinks I messed up? What's the number one rule? Stay out of jail." She paused and then added "also, do what you can to keep your head on your neck."

Jason: "Funny, I would have gone with intimidating the hell out of them and making sure they know there are no favors in this kind of a deal."

Jules: "That's why I have you!" She said, cozying up to his arm and putting her head on his shoulder. "Lesson time?"

Jason: "Exactly how are these DVDs going to teach me to fake a waterboarding?"He shrugged. "Lesson time, fair enough."

Jules: "They'll teach you strategy. Trust me. Also, it's not about torture. If someone has your money, you take something of theirs. Dignity counts."

Jason: "But do you take a bat to the girl who has the guy who'll make you feel like you were set on fire? I personally would say no."

Jules: "Right! So let's go take some notes on intimidation! You'll know what I mean when we get to Tîko."

The Grower

Jules: "So remember, we need him to be okay with it. We can't bribe him, we can't force him into it. If he has any reason to doubt us, our morales, or anything else, he could screw the whole thing over. He's a key element, if we can't buy him today? We'll never get him. For reezy."

Jason: "...did you just say 'for reezy'?" Jason's eyebrow crooked. "You know, for someone who deals in weed you are awfully tense."

Jules: "It's business Jason, you gotta be for cereals." She shot him a look of 'put-your-game-face-on' and opened the door to the Green House. "Heyyyy! Michael, you in here?" She asked.

Jason: "...Oh my God what on earth have I allied myself with?" Jason followed on in.

Michael: Michael's head popped up from a makeshift hammock he'd hung up in the corner of the greenhouse. "Huh?"

Jules: "Hey buddy! How's the Green Hou-" She stopped and dropped her jaw at the bright colors. "Wow... damn. You took my suggestion seriously then huh?" Xavier was going to shit a brick when he saw this. "It's like a damn jungle!"

Jason: "...Impressive." Jason observed, looking around at what Michael had created out here.

Michael: He carefully got up out of the hammock and searched for his staff. "Uhmm I just made a few of them grow and then the rest of them all joined in."

Jules: "Of course they would, why wouldn't they! You got a talent not just some ability. Sure, I run, but what you can do? It's art. Legit." She sucked her lip in as she looked at the tree at the end of the green house in the 'tropic' area. "Is that... that's a banana tree? Wow."

Jason: "A banana tree in New York? I would have to agree with Julie here, that's quite the achievement."

Michael: "Yeah I don't know who planted it but it was almost dead when I started to help it out." Michael rubbed the bark of the tree. "I'm more proud of my berry collection over there. They taste amazing."

Jules: "You know, you probably could use some money to get this green house expanded." Julie hinted at.

Jason: Jason looked to the berries in question. "May I?"

Michael: "Feel free. They're not mine to say no. I dunno I think it's pretty cozy in here. And the plants will thrive as long as I'm here." He pressed his hand to the berry bush that Jason was near and made it produce more berries.

Jules: "Well I'm just saying, you can always make it bigger. Or do other stuff y'know? Extra money is great. By the way, wanna earn some extra money?"

Jason: "Subtle." Jason popped a berry into his mouth.

Michael: "Huh?" Michael pulled off a berry and popped it in his mouth. "I uhmm don't really need money."

Michael: "Do I?"

Jules: "You always need money! What if something happened to Xavier's? Or you needed cash for insurance or something? If anything happened, any kind of financial emergency, you're gonna want hard cash, none of that credit stuff."

Michael: "Well I can take care of myself. And my parents are both doctors so... I don't have to worry about them. So I can't really think why I'd need any cash."

Jason: "Do you want nothing then?"

Michael: "Well I kinda want a drink but I can go inside and get that." Michael ate another berry.

Jules: "Michael... what I want to proposition to you is enough money to make this area living quarters if you wanted it to be. You wouldn't have to rely on your parents' money. You could be your own person. And you'd have tax-free income, total financial independence."

Michael: "I don't rely on my parents money I don't rely on anyone's money. I make plants and live off the land Julie. I'm
kinda confused on what you want."

Jason: "She's making a business proposition, are you interested in working with her kind of thing. Consider it money for things outside of yourself, something you can use to kick back to other things...like animals, you have those crazy things with the flaps and the eyes, yeah? Sugar-gliders?"

Jules: "H'omiGawd I love those little darlings!" She quickly lost any sense of business and went all out 'high-school girl' and squee'd at the thought of them.

Michael: "Uhmm are you okay Julie...?" Michael pondered what he could do with some money.

Jason: "She's fine...distracted, but fine. So,is the proposition something to be talked about farther or are we wasting time here?"

Michael: "I don't even know what you guys want me to do. I mean what am I gettin out of this. Money's not really a big draw for me. I don't really need it for anything. I mean clothes I just go find an animal kill it skin it, i've got clothes. Food, same. My gliders eat fruit and stuff I can grow. Money kinda loses it's flare when you're blind. And have special
powers...."

Jules: "Well, firstly, honey, if you're killing animals for clothes, that's great and all, but with some money you might be able to take a girl out on a date. Somewhere besides Grizzly Adams' lean-to, y'know?"

Jules: "Secondly, this would be an incredible experiment for you. I have dozens, in fact dozens of dozens, of breeds of marijuana that I need to have grown. Specific flavors that need special care and crazy sensetive environments."

Jules: "I can't provide that for them. But I need to provide them for the customers, and once I have customers, I have money, when I have money, you have money and then you can take girls like me out on dates." She would've shot a wink, but instead she just said "Y'see?"

Jason: "...I didn't realize this venture doubled as 'get Julie laid'...I might need a raise...and what she said plus with the move up here it can't be all that practical to go out hunting. It's pretty suburban around here plus I imagine the ferals give you some competition for things as well."

Michael: "There isn't much competition when you can will animals to come to you." Michael shrugged a little. "So wait when did sex play into this? This is startin to sound like one of those bad after school specials, drugs, sex, all we need now is guns and peer pressure."

Jason: "Nah, I do fake guns and they pressure themselves."

Jules: "Was totally just about to say that." Jules agreed with Jason. "And I said sex? I said a date. But if that's what you need to hop on board, then you'll see how badly we need your specialities. You're skilled, Michael. You, and only you, can do this job in the climate we live in. If it was Hawaii, I'd just ask Jack Johnson. But we're in New York and you're it."

Jason: "Though, you know, we're going to also have to hunt out a location for this too."

Michael: "Uhmm I guess I could help out. But yeah I don't know where we could grow them. There's not enough room in here. Plus I'm sure the Prof's wouldn't like that too much. I don't think I could get them to grow out in the cold and snow even with my power so that's kinda out."

Jules: Julie nearly leapt into the air in joy. She restrained herself however and just looked to Michael with a wide grin and said. "Thank you! Don't worry we'll work out the logistics and hard-ware. You'll get everything you need, just bring you and the green thumb!" She looked to Jason. "I'm thinking we start scoping out shipping containers maybe?"

Jason: Jason's lips quirked up. "I know where there's shipping and cargo holds to a certain pharmacuticals company who never quite got what they deserved in my opinion. Getting access will be easy."

Jules: "For rizzles?!" She clapped her hands excitedly. "It's so gangsta!"

Jules: "Let's get started! Thanks Michael!" She zipped out the door and ran into the house.

Building 'The Speedy Weedy Co.'

Jason: Swiping his current employee badge, balding, blond, and middled aged Jason pushed up his illusionary biofocals as he looked around to make sure he was being met by who expected. "Well, glad to not be kept waiting."

Jules: Julie sighed. "You're way too covert about stuff. People tend to be very disinterested in a lot of this noise y'know."

Jason: "I would hope they're disinterested. I don't need people wondering why Jim from accounting is milling around the shipping yard, thank you."

Jules: "Who'm I supposed to be again?" She asked, only half curious. "Remember, we need to be able to keep an electrical source in whatever container. You said you can get ownership of it right? Fake some kind of paper so no one uses it?"

Jason: "I didn't actually get you a name, Jim's for my other work. I don't intend to let anyone see you at the moment so we'll have some time to worry about that later." Jason shrugged. "Generators okay by you? And yes, I can push something through easy enough."

Jules: "Whatever works Jason, you know how I feel. I need a hydration system and some lighting. These containers are plenty big enough, so I imagine it'll work. If the operation expands, we'll go somewhere else. Warehouse or something."

Jules: She gulped at the idea of trying to operate a larger business without the Kingpin noticing.

Jason: "I'm sure we can work that out." Jason didn't see it as a problem in any case. "Now let's see, the empty ones are farther back, got a few in row R at least."

Jules: "You know what we should do... we should get a dog. No wait, how are we going to walk it? We should get security cameras. Get some wi-fi hooked up and feed it to our laptops. I think that'd be the best idea."

Jason: "I'm glad you rethought the dog there. Question is who's chunk of the profit is this going to come out of?"

Jason: "For the record? I vote Michael."

Jules: "I actually would go so far as to say it comes from neither and we go treasure hunting off the coast of the tropics. But being that I doubt your'e in for that, wanna just go with rule number 34? Get a legal front?"

Jules: "All we have to do is get a business loan for something stupid, I'm sure you can help with that, and put the loan to the weed. Pay the loan back taking turns from each of our cuts, I'll volunteer mine first."

Jason: "Isn't that creating an unnecessary paper trail?" Jason asked, wary of the idea. "As it is we could probably lift some things from secuity supplies from the school, claim they busted and get Xavier to replace it."

Jules: "Or we can actually bust 'em?" She offered. "I'm really fast, and I've discovered when I'm angry, my rainbow flickers. I think I might be able to control when it shows behind me."

Jason: "...we want the cameras, why would we bust them?" Jason blinked, very confused. "We're taking the cameras and giving the school an excuse to replace them. Though I suppose busting one for evidence would be good."

Jules: "Maybe three?" She offered. "I wanna hit somethign with a bat. Why didn't you let me hit Chet with a bat!?" she whined to Jason.

Jason: "Maybe next time. He still has to pay us, after all." Jason smiled more. "Just have to be a bit subtle about the camera thing...we'll get to ballbusting, promise."

Jules: "Right. Also, did I mention we could have some trouble with competition?" She looked up and smiled at a shipping container. "This place looks nice!"

Jules: "It's big and sorta purple... oh wait I don't think it's supposed to be."

Jason: "...what now?"

Jules: "There may be a Kingpin type... figure.... who will not be happy that I'm taking their customers. And I also may have stolen quite a bit of money from him once upon a time and was tortured and had my finger cut off 'cause of it."

Jason: "..." Jason turned and looked at her. "You...what?!"

Jules: "Look, it's in the past! Like three, maybe four months ago! He's probably forgotten! Him and his mutant hitman who has amazing aim and impecable timing. Like a lucky-shot almost, sorta like that Neena. But probably better. He's got a bullseye scar on his forehead. Pretty messed up."

Jules: "Anyways, they're bigger fish. They don't bother with the street people like we will. They're beyond suburbia. They control cocaine, gun, and sex-slave movement mostly. From what I remember while being celled up in his sweet pad at least. Either way, they got grunt guys who do their pot dealing. They'll be too scared of him to tell him why they're numbers are low, if we play our cards right? They'll buy from us just to resell."

Jason: "...I need for you to supply me with reasons why I shouldn't lock you into one of these containers and just let you cook for a few months." Jason's eyes, and his illusions closed, hand reaching up to rub his temple. "Son of a bitch. These people aren't going to forget...especially being stolen from by some upstart."

Jules: "Well, Alex was involved. But we scared them. The pants off of 'em. Actually."

Jason: "...Oh I don't want to ask but I'm going to have to have you elaborate on just what you mean?"

Jules: "Well, a few of the X-Men showed up to save me, 'cause Alex finally decided to tell them he'd been getting ransom letters for the money or they were going to keep cutting parts of me off. So they showed up, beat up Bullseye, and sent the rest of his gang packing. And I was able to move really fast and steal a couple grand from the briefcase."

Jules: "Which was great 'cause that's exactly what I needed to get my project off the ground! I spent most of it buying Hector's supply! So in the long run, it served its purpose right? Hey, look! This ones orange! WOW! Bright! I like it!"

Jason: "...and you think he's forgotten this? Did you get a lobotomy while you were there?!"

Jules: "I cried a lot... especially when he cut my finger off. He's really fat...." She frowned. "Jason, it won't be a problem! His people will way away from us! And maybe, in time, we can be the true Kingpins! But not of crime... maybe of something nicer. Like unicorns. Or dumplings."

Jason: "..I have the worst ideas." Jason slumped against one of the containers, head coming into contact with the side a few times as if to jumpstart himself.

Jules: "No no, to be fair, this was my idea. Your idea was finding a way to get the shipping container."

Jason: "I was refering to agreeing to work with you, actually."

Jules: "Oh, then yeah. You dropped the ball on that one. Hey, you think I can keep a change of clothes in the container? So that I can sometimes stop by... sleep here?"

Jason: "I'd consider it a security risk to keep oersnal belongings with the product, wouldn't you?"

Jules: "No. A lot of people wear awesome clothing and grow pot. But ine, if that's what you're thinking yeah it would probably make sense Boy! We make a great team, eh!?" She nudged Jason excitedly.

Jason: "My only consolation is that I would be pretty good at escaping prison."

Jules: "Me too! I'm fast!" She smiled happily. "Plus, it's prison! We could get great business there! Hee!"

Jason: "Oh Jesus."

Jules: "This one!" She tapped the side of the container that was red. "It's long enough! Wide enough too! And we could totally make this place rock!"

Jason: "I never thought I'd have to own anything that resembles a single-wide so much."

Jules: "Good! Let's go get the equipment, set up, and we'll be in business!" She put her hand up for a high-five. "Whoo hoo!"

Jason: Jason looked at the hand asking him to 'hit it' and hoped it would go away. After a moment he realized it wasn't going to and gave into the high-five. "Whoo hoo."

Jules: "Oh! By the way! Did I tell you about the cops?" She smiled waiting for a reaction from Jason.

Jason: "...no." Nobody would find the body for weeks. He was sure he could get away with it.

Jules: "Good, 'cause there aren't any! I'll see you back at the school! Let me know when everything's ready!" She pecked his cheek and zipped off.

One Hug Too Many

Rogue: Rogue slid her bike to a stop and flew off after setting the stand down. She stripped her gloves and shoved them in her jacket pockets as she made her way up the front steps of the mansion. Maybe she could find someone up for going out.

Alex: Alex slipped out of his room and made his way down the hall, heading for the stairs. Maybe he'd go grab a snack and watch a movie, or he could actually try to find something to do that sounded fun.

Rogue: Rogue moved through the front door and paused at the table in the foyer to sift through the mail left there. She took a deep breath as she found a letter from Sam's mom. She should probably go down and see them at some point this holiday season... She just couldn't bring herself to even call them yet.

Alex: "Hey, Rogue," Alex called with a grin as he quickly headed down the stairs.

Rogue: Rogue turned her head, but kept her eyes on the letter as she opened it. Once she'd pulled the letter out, she finally looked up, "Hey, sugah. What're y'all up to?"

Alex: "Nothing much," he shook his head, "What about you?"

Rogue: "Just stoppin' in ta see if anybody wants ta go out. Y'all up f'r it?"

Alex: "Yeah, sure," Alex smiled, "Where did you want to go?"

Rogue: "Anywhere that ain't here."

Alex: He shrugged, "Sounds good to me."

Jules: "I'll join." Julie zipped up behind Rogue and stopped short, her rainbow zooming around corners and connecting back with her.

Alex: Alex tried not to cringe. He wasn't sure he'd even talked to Julie since their spat in the rec room where she told him not to ever talk to her again.

Jules: "Oh... hey Alex!" She waved, trying to do her best 'I'm-Not-Crying-Inside-' face.

Alex: "Hey," Alex managed to force out along with a grin, fairly sure he didn't sound quite as pleasant as he had when speaking to Rogue.

Jules: "Where're we going" Julie asked excitedly, looking to Rogue with a large, toothy, grin.

Rogue: Rogue arched an eyebrow at Julie, "Calm down gal. An' like Ah said ta Alex, anywhere that ain't here." She cast a glance at Alex, "Y'all alright with her goin'?"

Alex: "Yeah, sure..." Alex answered, despite the fact that he really wanted to say no.

Rogue: Rogue arched a skeptical eyebrow at Alex. "Didn't we work on this whole 'no' thing?"

Alex: He shot her a smirk, "We did, but that doesn't mean it worked."

Jules: Julie frowned. "Y'know, I'm not a sob-bucket all the time. I can recover, move on, cease crying. I promise." She looked to Rogue. "You a grumpy-pants today? Maybe you should play some MGMT."

Alex: Alex rolled his eyes but said nothing.

Jules: Julie pulled out her yo-yo and began to flick it down and up back into hand. "I can walk the dog when we head out! Get it!" She nudged Rogue's arm with her elbow.

Rogue: Rogue narrowed her eyes at Julie in question, "MGMT?" She looked down at her arm as Julie nudged her, "Ah ain't a 'grumpy-pants' taday. This is just how Ah am. Like it or leave."

Jules: "I like you, so I'd rather not leave." Her smile flickered as she saw Rogue's eyes, but she resisted the urge to dash away. Be positive, stay happy. Friends, that's what you want. "Anyone feelin' the mall today?"

Alex: "As long as I'm not stuck carrying bags, I guess that'd be fine," he shrugged and glanced over at Rogue.

Rogue: Rogue made a face, "Ah ain't feelin' tha mall. Ah'd rather go ta a club'r bar'r somethin'."

Alex: "That'd be fine with me, too." Well, so long as he didn't end up drunk and sleeping with some other girl he barely knew.

Jules: "Wait, bar?" She checked her pocket for her bag of weed to deal with. "Okay, check. Wait... I'm not 21.... I'll sneak in though...."

Rogue: "Have y'all never gone out with tha students here? Y'all gotta get a fake ID'r somethin'. Damn." She arched an eyebrow as Julie checked her pocket though, "Check? Check, what?"

Jules: "My pieces-of-what, of course!" She shrugged and pulled a large scarf out from inside her hoody and wrapped it around her neck. It was bright orange with blue stripes.

Rogue: Rogue just stared at her, "Pieces-of-what." She looked over at Alex, "Real catch there." She carefully folded the letter and tucked it back in the envelope to read later, tucking it in the inside pocket of her bomber jacket.

Alex: Alex snorted and shook his head, "You're a bit behind if you think I'm still with her."

Jules: "OooOOH!" Julie said, eyes wide. "What's in the letter? Anything good? Scholarships? Paychecks? New credit card?"

Rogue: "Oh, Ah know ya ain't, sugah." She narrowed her eyes at Julie, "Is it really any o' y'all's business?"

Jules: "Well,... no. But curiosity never killed this cat!" She winked. "C'mon Rogue! I'm your friend, you don't need to hide stuff from me!"

Alex: Alex eyed Rogue and stole a quick glance at Julie, lightly chewing on his lip. He wasn't sure how Rogue would take that, and he wasn't about to get in the middle of it. He liked living too much.

Jules: "Rooooguuee! I wanna seeeee! I won't hurt it, I promise! Not one bit!"

Rogue: Rogue's eyes narrowed further, "Gal, Ah'm tellin' ya now that this ain't none o' y'all's business. It ain't no one's business at this school anymore but mah own. Back. Off."

Jason: Jason and his pilfered portion of path thai came in at that monent though it was forgotten on his spoon. "Are we going to start treeing people?"

Jules: "Anymore? What does that mean?" Her eyes got wide. "Ohhh! I'm sorry!? Is it about Sam! I didn't mean to make you feel bad about him! I'm really sorry, Rogue. Jeez...." She looked to Jason. "Jason, I think I upset Rogue." She felt bad and didn't know what to do-OH WAIT, YES SHE DID!

Jules: "Rogue you know what you need?" She opened her arms wide. "You need a HUG! Huggle bear! Rainbows and happies!"

Alex: He cringed, getting the feeling this would be the end of Julie.

Rogue: Rogue's jaw clenched and her hands balled in fists. "Ah don't need a hug," she ground out.

Jason: "In any case, a hug might be misconstrued as a gameplan for an assgrab. Dangerous situations abound." Jason leaned against the wall. "And what, dear co-conspirator, is 'happies'?"

Jules: "Happies are the good feelings you get from a nice warm hug from a good friend! That isn't sexual!" She said sternly. "C'mere Roguie, it's okay! It's just a hug, it's not poison!" She attempted to hug her dear friend.

Rogue: Rogue froze in slight shock and then pushed her arms up to break Julie's hold on her and then swung at her jaw in a right cross, all in one clean fluid move. "One? Don't call me Roguey. Second. Don't fuckin' touch me. An' third? Ah swear ta God if y'all even murmur Sam's name again Ah will put ya through a damned wall."

Jules: Like a well pitched curve-ball, Julie spiraled towards the wall and went headfirst into it, smacking against it with a yelp. Blood, a little bit, was visible in her mouth, and her eyes were groggy at best. She slipped out of consciousness with only the utterance "No...".

Alex: Alex let out another cringe and felt slightly sorry for her. One of the last people he'd want to be hit by was Rogue for that reason... He looked between the girls, then to Jason. Now was probably not the time to say hi...

Jason: "...." Jason looked to Alex, attempting to communicate 'wtf did I walk into' to him without saying a word.

Alex: He made a slight face and shook his head, fairly sure Jason didn't really want to know.

Rogue: Rogue fought Julie's psyche with a glare on her face as she looked down at the unconscious lump. "'Spose someone should get her some ice so her jaw don't swell too bad."

Alex: "I'm good with that," Alex said quickly, glad to be out of the room for any amount of time now. He started toward the kitchen and busied himself with finding a baggie, gathering ice, and finding a dish towel or something. Things between him and Julie weren't great, but he wasn't completely against helping if she really needed it. Though, if that hadn't been so awkward, it'd probably be more reluctantly.

Jason: "And maybe make sure her brain's not bounced off of it's stem or anything. See you've kept in practice." Well, there went someone back up Jason's 'do not piss off' list.

Rogue: Rogue watched Alex leave and then turned back to Jason, "Y'all think Ah got out o' practice?" She looked down at Julie, "She had it comin'."

Jason: "I'll...take your word on it."

Jules: Julie grumbled and murmured.

Rogue: "Good." She looked back up at Jason. "Y'all wanna go out then? Maybe go grab Ronnie an' Ginny?"

Jason: "Well...if it involves things similar to what happened last we spent time together I will have to ask for some assurance I won't be the target of the sledgehammer."

Jules: Julie's eyes fluttered open and she looked up at Alex. "Did you see where my peanut butter shoes went?"

Alex: Alex had returned with the ice and was trying to figure out what to do with it, as he didn't really want to sit there and hold it to her face. "No," he sighed and shook his head, offering the bag to her, "Here." He wasn't sure she'd take it, but it was worth a shot.

Jules: "Good. Scurvy dogs." She took the ice and dropped it on her chest, passing out instantly.

Rogue: "No sledgehammers. But drinks an' bar fights'd be kinda fun."

Rogue: She glanced at Alex, "Thanks, sugah."

Alex: "Yeah, no problem," he mumbled, debating what to do. He supposed fetching McCoy would be a decent idea, but should he really leave her there? Not like anyone was going to mess with her, and she couldn't get too much worse. Well, he guessed that was his answer and got up.

Rogue: Rogue took a breath and moved to pick Julie up, hauling her over her shoulder. "Hank'll have a field day an' Ah'm sure Ah'll be tha talk o' tha staff meetin' again. But Ah don't think Ah really care anymore."

Jason: "Bar fights and the such are a bit out in the open for me. I rather likavoidingthose kinds o situations." Yet he always ended up wring with people who got him into uncomfortable situations; Shaw earned him an elevator ride with Essex, Julie could earn him a visit from local drug lords and God only knows what mayhem with Rogue could cause.

Jason: Probably brain damage.

Rogue: Rogue shrugged with her free shoulder. "Then we'll do somethin' more subtle." She made her way to the stairs down towards the elevator. "Meet me at tha garage in ten?"

Jason: "Why not, only live once."

Rogue: She gave him a grin, "Great. See if ya can round up tha other two." Rogue looked at Alex, "Y'all wanna come with or stay with Julie 'till she wakes up?"

Alex: He glanced between Rogue and Julie one last time and gave a shrug, "I guess go with?" It wasn't like he was going to do anything to bring Rogue's wrath upon himself...

Rogue: "Alright then. Lemme just dump her on a bed in tha med lab an' avoid a lecture from Scott. Be right back, y'all."
