Hello Nightcrawler fans. I recently stumbled upon what seems to be the holy grail of forums. I love to see all of the Kurt fans out there as he has been my favorite for at least 20 years now. I thought I would share my love of the character with you guys. This is a link to my figurerealm page. Browse through and you will see my many homages to our favorite fuzzy blue elf. Thanks guys!

My goodness, those are amazing!~I love the steampunk one. But they are all stunning. What kind of paint do you use on the figures? Plastic is difficult to paint...
Oh, and Bill Mahoney is hilarious.
*edit* Oh and Kurt in a sharp 3 piece suit. You know what women want. I salute you.

I totally agree, you have a remarkable talent there. I completely love the steampunk one and the X-Force one...and pretty much a tonne of the others as well! Awesome work!

Thanks guys. I use Model Master Acryl to paint (mostly flat colors.) Also, the Steampunk Kurt won the Steampunk contest on figurerealm. It may have been the only time a Nightcrawler took first in their contests. It is nice to be appreciated. Look for more to come as there are so many version I still want to do.

Sweet. How do you get the figures? Do you buy brand new ones or do you have a source for second hand ones?

I tend to buy new and used. Generally its as easy as sculpting hair and ears on a figure's head and then painting him Insignia Blue(my personal favorite Nightcrawler paint). Thanks again for all of these fantastic comments. Its reactions like these that make me proud of what I do.

My hands are itching now...Unfortunately I live in a retarded part of the world were action figures are hard and expensive to obtain. :(
I would normally use magic sculp for this kind of customing job. Great stuff, but unfortunately also hard to get in Belgistan. What do you use?

I love the Ultimate Kurt... I mean I love them all LOL, but the Ultimate Kurt one is really bad ass. So is Knightcrawler.

You, sir, (miss?) have a gift. RUN WITH IT. Go get a job for a toy sculpting company. Immediately.

Have you ever made a Spider-Man Noir figure? Or Daredevil Noir?

Also, Blue Flash from Brightest Day ;) I bet people would go nuts for that.

Custom Figure hobbyists have always had my respect. I come from a prop and costume replica background so I think there's a similar ascetic when it comes to "seeing possibilities" in raw materials that may already be a complete product.

I also loved the social aspect - sharing techniques and materials, critiquing each other's work, and the proud display of the final product to an audience that appreciates and understands.

Thanks for sharing your work with us. You might also be interested to know that another fellow custom figure designer and Nightcrawler fan is Darick Robertson, who pencilled the 12 issue Nightcrawler solo book a few years ago.

Thanks so much for sharing these!

These are so awesome!! I must say that the steampunk one is my favorite (I think it has something to do with the colors, haha). I wish I had this kind of artistic talent :D

You guys are great! Thanks for the kind words again.
Elwing- I use AVES Fix-It sculpt. It is so easy to use and takes about 4 hours to be ready to paint.
Ult_Sm86- I am glad you like my Ult Kurt. I want to do him in his gold and black outfit as well. I love me some Daredevil. May take a crack at the Noir version...but not before Kurt Noir.
Saint Kurt- I would personally love to se some of your work. You hit the nail on the head with the respect of similar interests bud.
Fallen.Angel.Rising- I love my Steampunk Kurt as well. I think it would make a great storyline.
Oh and I am a guy.. just to clear that up. I will post more figures soon, once I have completed them. Keep up the BAMF guys.

Awesome! I always so jealous of people who can work in 3D. I agree with FallenAngel, love the steampunk version! I also love your own originals as well. Very clever. And of course welcome to the forums both of you! ;)
