Nightscrawlers

Ok, so I know that over at the Monument, someone made a chatroom for us to visit and I went a couple of times, but then I forgot the server.
I was thinking that we should revive/make a new chatroom for all of us here. Chatting is fun like forums, but it's easier to have conversations in. I'd host it but my connection is sclow and stuff. Maybe we could host it on Nightscrawlers.com Just a suggestion.

you know,i think that's possible,to have one, AND host it right here at Nightscrawlers... i'll check into it tomorrow... it is time for now...

I know for a fact there is a way...if Jill doesn't get it up and running by the time I'm back from the war in Calgary, I'll fix us up.

Yeah, I knew that there was a way because my friend has a chat room hosted on his server. Are you planning to use a jirc applet?

One request from us Mac heads, who get excluded from so many online chat programs... Remember us, please?! I went through several chat and IM programs long ago when we did this before and only a few would work on my Mac.

I'm pretty sure a jirc applet would work on a mac. Also, can you download mirc on a mac, because that is another good way to chat. What we could do, and this is what most sites do, is have the chat be on mirc, but also have a jirc applet on their site for people who don't have it. That way everyone can chat, but it's more fun with mirc cuz you can send files and be in mutiple rooms and stuff.

a chat room would be very very good. Not a bad idea Hsu, not bad at all.

yeah us webtvers prefer mirc chatrooms as well...the one were linked to know hates my browser everytime i go to send text brings me back into the login page ..its gunna real time chat right?

yeah i'll add the irc chat as soon as i can, though i can not update any fiels at the moment so it will have to wait a while but i finally got mIRC! so i will see about catching you there, Hsu

link doesnt seem to be working love keeps tellin me that the chat service cannot be reached...

Yeah... that's cuz it's not popular ...YET! If you guys want you can PM me and I'll tell you how to register your password. This will ensure no one takes it on the whole server. You have to enter a password everytime you log on though, but eventually it will be worth it. Also, permanent mods have to be registered.

we should have the room linked to this site somehow..much better than the one they gave us!

IRC = Internet Relay Chat. It's not something you have it's something you do.
mIRC is a program that allows you to connect to multiple chatrooms at once. Get it?

I'm still looking for the link. It was on some site and all I had to do was tweak it but I forgot the site and didn't bookmark it.

I have IRC as part of Trillian but I never use it.

Yeah I had a jirc applet that I was using. It was neat. I personally prefer mIRC cut it's better but jirc works fine.
