Leroux gave the Phantom life.
Kay gave the Phantom a soul.
Webber gave the Phantom a voice.
Consider that, and you'll see why I can't choose.

Clicking on the "more smilies" link at the bottom of the page will show you everything we've got.

If Galactus isn't in there, then we don't have him. Happy hunting!

If you're talking about the :respect series of smilies, they are not currently on the board due to the smilie limit.

Thank you,

(booty? tumbleweed?)

I'd like to see a Daytripper! :margali <- (Amanda's mom)

If there's not enough room maybe people wouldn't mind losing some of the more obscure characters.

Hmm, I have no idea how to do daytripper. She has few indentifying characteristics. We could do her as Magic II though, with the ridiculous big horns... Well, at least we have :cerise

It would actually be very cool to have a set of smilies from the solo series, kind of like how there are smilies from Chuck Austen's run on Uncanny. There could be Christine, Amanda (as Magick II), and maybe some of the other supporting characters like Seth Walker and Nightmare?

It's too bad I suck at making smilies.

For both of these, why don't you suggest the :code to use for its addition? :toothy is already taken in Chat.

Is there a limit to the number of smilies there can be?

I was playing with paint and changed some existing smilies to (try to) make a Daytripper and Nurse Palmer

ImageImageImage

I have no idea if it makes a difference, but the end code I used to save them is .png (though the flower one is still .gif)

Edit: Whoops! - I didn't realize they had the white backgrounds! Ah, would anyone like to help me fix that? :?

(Not exactly the most :computer literate)

Theoretically, yes, but that can be changed. I'm going to defer to the Creative Administrator on adding new smilies, but if we do add yours, she or I can fix the white background.

yeah, i can fix the white background, i have a few smilies to fix the bacground on, i can add them tomorrow. the Daytripper one, though, i think may be too similar to our Dazzler smiley.... the problem wiht Daytripper is she's quite generic..... maybe if we went for the horned look

Spaz has submitted this most excellent smilie. We used to have it. We simply must have it again since it's hilarious.

This board doesn't have a Dazzler smilie - though that's what I modified. You know, I really don't mind at all if you don't want to put those up!

As for putting up an Amanda with horns, I don't think that's fair to the character - since she wasn't always Magik II (if that's what she is now). I agree that putting up a generic blonde isn't enough to differentiate her from anyone else - but for the longest time she was human (with magic powers).
