You're ok Nightfollower. You can have a max of 90x150 for an avatar. Your's is 81x100. Your cool:D

OK, I suppose this would be the right thread to post it in. What is the avatar size now, because I KEEP recropping my picture and it KEEPS telling me its too big. At the moment it's almost too small to see and it's still too big. My piccy: http://www.boomspeed.com/comgipets/eric.gif

Mikey, that picture is 95 x 57 Pixels, its too big width wise, not by much..but it is

the avatar rules are 90 pixels wide and 150 pixels high

EDIT>> Ive cropped the images for you (and slowed it down a bit) check your e-mail dude

You host it on your own webspace. I use free webspace at http://hometown.aol.com. Set yourself up with free web space. Find a photo you want to use. Then use a photo editing program. I use programs called Photo Impact or Microsoft Photo editor to shrink the image down to 90x150 the maximum allowed at NS. Good Luck!;)

But I don't know what I want!

Is there a master list, somewhere, or do I just have to surf around somewhere till I find one?
Also, I'm technically stupid, so I don't know how to resize pictures. Can someone help me, if I need it?

On the top, right below the 'Nightscrawlers' logo, is the word 'Avatars'. That'll take you to avatars that you cna select to use on the board.

None of the free hosting services will allow me to make a webpage just for the purpose of having one little Avatar, which is the only reason I would have a page. What do I do?

This is what I want to use, but there's really no place to stick it.

Would it be possible to upload it not from a URL, but a file in one's "My documents" or "My pictures" On their own computer?
