The dumb things that people do that lands them in the news
OK - One of you suckers has GOT to teach my how to post links under those cute little highlighted words.
However, regardless of the fact that the link is disgustingly long, this is an interesting (well and kinda disgusting) argument for this guys innocence. That is why this is in the danger room.
Cute little highlighted words.
What I haven't ever got is why people in trouble make up dumbassed stories. Will never get that. At least come up with something remotely plausable!

I don't know...this man may be my hero.....
What a crotchety old man. Like, his response to his arrest and court date was an obscenity and "Let's get out of here."??? And to top it off, his excuse: "I don' have a dick"....like..DAMN....wow....
I dunno.....he's quite obviously disturbed in the head.....but funny as hell...

Way to post link under cute highlighted words:
Under the full reply screen, click the little world w/link icon. The first screen asks for the name, in this case something like "news story," then it will ask for the URL to put behind it.
Like this.
You can also go to tinyurl.com and paste a link in there and it will create a very small url to use as well.
As for the story - wow, that's awesome. Some guy.

Yeah. And falling asleep in court? Priceless. What are they going to do to him, after all? Throw him in jail? He's 81. And he might be sort of telling the truth... as in, he physically has the parts, they just don't work any more. He's old enough for it to be likely.Originally posted by NachtcGleiskette

Canada Thief Strips, Fails To Give Police The Slip
A bank robber in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, has found out the hard way that disrobing in public is not the best way to escape the cops.
The unidentified man got naked after robbing a bank in the Vancouver suburb of Burnaby May 17, but was unable to get a cabbie to give him a ride.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police issued a statement saying, “The quick thinking cab driver assessed the fare’s unusual clothing, or lack of, and relied on his gut instincts and denied him access to his cab.”
Police also said that our naked nincompoop then tried to flee the crime scene by means of a public transit station, but was spotted by officers and tackled.

Poor Mr. Kibbles
There are better ways to deal with a backyard breeder than that - though why that lady was after another puppy (probably just as young) I just don't know.

The dumb things that people do that lands them in the news
Well, while we're talking about asshats who do things just to get their name and message in print, let's talk about Michael Stark. Yes, the infamous Michael Stark, the liberal blogger who continually pulls stupid stunts to gain attention for himself and to deride politicians. He continually tries to get past call screeners onto radio shows to cause trouble. In one of these instances, he asked Newt Gingrich about his first marriage, which apparently would prove to be a theme with him. More on this later. During an episode of Hannity and Colmes, he held up a sign behind Hannity reading HANNITY SUCKS ASS. Classy, no?
Well, he's at it again with the senatorial race in Virginia. First he dressed up in a monkey suit expressly to get close to Allen and ask inappropriate questions such as whether he ever used the n-word. Now he shows up in Charlottesville yelling, "Why did you spit on your first wife?" And of course, he was hustled away by Allen's staffers. What did he expect? Other liberal bloggers are naturally depicting this as an assault on his person.
What I don't like about this guy is he tries to make his own news. He makes baseless claims in a grandiose fashion so they'll appear in print. He dresses up in a monkey suit -- a monkey suit, for God's sake -- and asks if Allen's used the n-word. Lo and behold, Salon comes out with an article claiming he has and every newspaper in the country picks it up! Now, he's spouted another rumor made up by liberal bloggers and every newspaper in the country now cites it.
Why do amateur bloggers like him feel they have a right to know everything? First they want Allen's divorce records unsealed, for no apparent reason, just to air his dirty laundry -- and now they want confidential records, namely Allen's application to the Virginia Bar Association to determine whether he committed any crimes. "Traffic violations or assault and battery," they say. Where is this right granted them in the Constitution? Even politicians deserve privacy, and you don't get the freedom of expression in a private place. Sorry, but they're legally entitled to shut you up should you harrass a politician.
Idiot. Shame on the newspapers for picking this one up and rebroadcasting it as the truth. An assault on his person indeed.

Yeah - I have to say that people who only live to stir shit up and hurt others suck. While this is somewhat of an obvious statement - I still find it amazing how many people don't think of this when looking at people like that.
How are you going to look back on your life with enjoyment when all you've ever done is be a bully/hurt people?
Ah well...I suppose there needs to be idiots in the world to balance the intellectuals too. Ying yang and all that.

OK - realizing that I am double posting again - but with a title like this - how can you pass it up?
Now that's a concealed weapon.
Obviously, someone has some issues. At least he didn't get a chance to hurt anyone.

I'm glad he's being punished because really, false claims like that make it harder for people who've really been raped by wombats to be believed.

Yes, wombat rape is a curse on our society. But you have to admit, the good thing about this case is that the public awareness of the problem has been raised.
