Oh my
Nobody on here from around there I hope.
Still my thoughts and prayers are with those who've lost someone.

Nobody from the forum as far as we know, but yeah... it's all over the news and it's a horrible tragedy.

It's terrible.
This is just a total tragedy. And I know it might be awful to say this, quoting the movie and all, but it's true isn't it?
Some people just want to watch the world burn.
President Obama visits Aurora and spends time with the victims. He told the story of one girl he met, Allie Young, 19, who was shot in the neck. She survived, Mr. Obama said, because her 21-year-old friend, Stephanie, laid by her side and stanched her bleeding even as shots continued to ring out.
“Allie told Stephanie she needed to run. Stephanie refused to go,” the president said. “Because of Stephanie’s timely actions, I just had a conversation with Allie downstairs and she is going to be fine.”

The Batman Massacre
I am very surprised that there is not a thread on this yet. Is there one and I missed it? If not, we can discuss it here.
I, for one, am shocked that this would happen. So sad. Hit's the comic book and movie community hard...

Re: The Batman Massacre
As dumb as this sounds, for a minute I thought this was about the last 10 mins of this film.
Yes I was deeply bothered by this, like Nolan, films are sorta my safe haven and for violence to come into that, in such a small community, is just shocking. Good on Bale for showing his face at the hospital though

Threads are now merged, and yeah... it has been discussed, though, honestly, I think it's already been so saturated in the media that people aren't talking so much about it here.
It's a horrible, random, crazy act. One of a type that, unfortunately, we're becoming more and more used to.
