Excellent documentary.

Basically it discusses how sex change operations in Iran are legal - and infact assisted by government funding if applicable. They even change the sex on your birth certificate. Which is fantastic in ways for those who are true transsexuals.

Bitch of the thing is that if you are homosexual you are arrested, harrassed and quite likely to be killed. Legally.

So here is your choice for your 'femine' appearing male. Try to appear as male as possible and be harrassed and arrested and have difficulty finding work and just plain living...or become female. When you don't want to. Which carries it's own high costs.

It's a horrible state of being. Worth people being very aware of.
