Project Aiko

The web site says it's a project to make androids that will assist the elderly.

But, let's be honest, it's a guy who took his really expensive silicon sex doll, made it talk and "feel his touch" and is taking it to science fiction conventions with him.

I don't know what is says about me that I looked at the video and immediately recognized the Doll's manufacturer, but it made the whole thing a little funnier that I did. <-- link NOT work safe unless you want your coworkers to think you have really expensive tastes in kink.

Oh, and in case you're wondering, Aiko is still a virgin, but they'll be tying the knot soon!

The funny thing is I showed the link to my friend and his immediate reply was:

It's also got a logo - phoenix studios.

It's like that bratz come to human sized. :blech

I saw them and I didn't even want to go there... I have a friend who lives in Los Angeles and she was telling me that women are already altering their bodies to have impossible anatomy. So it doesn't surprise me that guys would want "idealized" comic book sex dolls with giant eyes, no noses, and Angelina lips.

The funniest thing about the Aiko robot is the things she says though.

"Ow. You hurted me. Why did you touch me there? You will smear my make up."

No stereotypes of women there.
