Found this, Umm...

Postby Ult_Sm86 » Thu Nov 07, 2013 9:36 pm

So I was trying to dig up old embarrassing stuff from my past (a lot of it is on this site!) and I stumbled upon this little bit of information.
People's e-mails in some sort of storage site. I know for a fact this is old as hell being I haven't used Hotmail in over 6 years, but out of concern that others might have their e-mails attached to this still... should someone maybe find a way to eradicate this?

Are you sure your email is there? Maybe its just a trick to get peoples emails, so someone would type their email in there thinking they are taking their email off the lists.

That's an old, old, old e-mail. I remember it.

Absolutely no way to eradicate it, unfortunately. There's a thriving economy in e-mail addresses and once your e-mail address gets on a list, it will never die. The best you can do is use different e-mail "tags" when you give your e-mail address out so you can see who gave your address out once you get spam.
