Above's the message I keep receiving when I attempt to login to chat...and for some reason, Trillian is having the same issue in the form of flickering between 'Partially Online' and 'Offline'.

Can't think of what to do, any help would be appreciated. xx

Nope, still having problems; it insists there's a 'Socket Write Error'(?) and occasionally, 'Software caused abort: socket write error'...

I DID get on once last week but....I dunno...doesn't seem to be happy now. xx

Have you tried using Trill, dude? Or Pidgin or one of them?

It has to be a client issue... do you have Norton Internet Security or anything else that may be blocking outbound connections?

Nothing I can think of. Weirdly enough only ten minuets ago I was getting on chat, but after a few moments (or after I sent a message depending on what mood it was in) I was booted by some kind of invisible Falcon Kick.
Then it took me ages of hitting the 'Connect button to get back on, and the cycle continued...

I HAVE had some issues with my Laptop, in the defence of the site - and I AM in the process of dumping a glitchy, outmoded version of Commodo Firewall/Antivirus. I'll update again in a few hours once I've sorted those out. xx

Is the message that keeps displaying. Save for buying a dongle and using it instead there doesn't seem to be much on this end I haven't tried. I don't really think another program would help, but I'm gonna have a search and see what I can do. xx
