How do I turn it back on?

The Use signature? box IS checked, but it still doesn't show up.

No, it's still there. Otherwise it wouldn't show as a broken image. Either your image has been altered/deleted or the url has changed.

I just opened your image, and it says "Ripway account terminated. This account has been permanently terminated or closed. Please check the URL and try again."

I cut and pasted my signature above, and that is what shows. Nothing. I'm not sure I understand all the technical jargon. Are you saying it was deleted at the image hosting site?

no, we're saying that your account at the image hosting site was terminated. you can still log in there, but you can't view anything there.

it happened with me as well. My account at Ripway was terminated, even though I can still log in there. Just can't view anything.

I fixed it myself. I downloaded it onto Photobucket and put it back in my signature. Thanks anyway.

All right, now that I see what the sig is (sorry, but I can't remember what everybody has) I see what the issue is. Since Steyn made that image, it was in his account, and as he said, that account was suspended, for whatever reason, ending in the broken image link. Sorry about that.

I went in and removed the broken link from the ripway account.

oh yeah! Ha! I thought neling also had a ripway account. turns out it was my account all along. It was a silly misunderstanding that ended in a hilarious situation.
