I was looking through my old sketch books since I FINALLY got my scanner to work!
Here is the first of a few favorite pictures I'm going to post. I'm so happy that I have a scanner again!
This had nudity, so I'm putting a word link here instead of a thumbnail.
1) I love how my charcoal shading turned out. This is definitely one of my best pieces in charcoal.
2) The ballerina on the right just...worked out really well, in my opinion. Although her "weight" isn't very well supported, I like the proportions of torso to legs to arms and head.
3) This is before I took serious lessons...so the anatomy is off but the shading with watercolour turned out really nicely on his trousers!
4) An actor. it doesn't look much like him, and there's lots of anatomic stuff wrong with this, but It's still one of my better faces.
5) Ok, this is old and crap but it is the first cartoony drawing I ever did that turned out like exactly like I wanted it to.
6) Extreme anatomy aside, it's fairly nicely proportioned, and I like the energy and pose.

I really love that ballerina one. The anatomy is great on it.
