Cover fan art Challenge

All right- Here's a challenge for you-

Draw a cover for New X-Men, Uncanny X-Men, or X-treme X-Men.

Requirements:
-There must be at least 2 characters on the cover
-at least one character's costume must be designed by you.
-all the propper Heading materials must be in place
-It can be a front or wrap-around cover, but it must be proportioned properly.

Well, those are the rules. Have fun..

Hmm.... that's a tough one. Allright- They don't count as one of your two required characters, but they can count as your original costume.

Obviously, as the issuer of the challenge, I can't enter the contest, but I felt like showing off, anway. I designed Warren and Kurt's costumes for this cover.

wait a sec, i forgot this:

can we take the cover of an already present issue and just computer generate it to meet the giudelines? Or doeas it have to be totally original?

I'd like them top be original. What you CAN rip off are all the Logos and stuff that is added to the cover, but the base image should be your own.

By the way, KF- other than not fitting one of the three current core titles, your cover matches alll the requirements.

i have no *home* computer
i have no scanner
so i'll just share the mental image:

at the top of our picture we have the classic "Excalibur" title/logo, obscured by the current Uncanny X-men logo (but just enough to be visible) being hauled into place by archangel and monet.
THe scene is one of obvious disarray, they're not quite ready to go just yet, there are draping sheets scattered about, and an overturned wheelchair with "director" on the back just visible...
Off to one side we have the ever ubiquitous Wolverine with unlit cigar and claws looking distinctly uncomfortable in *giggle* Rachel's old hound costume (complete with heels

).
and in the foreground Kurt and Storm (in Shadowcat's old costume) she looks peeved, her arms are folded and she's glaring at Kurt, who looks annoyed/apologetic, in his hand we see a paintbrush (dripping onto Storm's sleeve) and a can of paint held by his tail.
THe whole picture is in black and white with the exception of the foreground, which looks as though Kurt has been painting it in order to give everything its proper colours.
Oh yeah, Warren is dressed as Captain Britain, and Monet is dressed as Meggan....
