My pencils, gang! Grades?

Okay, here we go, my first attempt at posting my pencils...eeek! Yeah...Angelique helped me figure the silly process out! I am sooooo computer illiterate!

Nice! You did really well with the hands - those are always hard to do, as I understand it. But, where were Nightcrawler's swords in the first one

Thank you, Chicory! When I started that one, I decided to add Kassandra for Angelique in the Background, because I promised her a pic of Kassi, so Kurt didn't get a sword, but the Zeitgeist did! Added the ship in the background as an afterthought as well. I have since touched up things that buggered me like heavier shading around the eyes and Kassi's jawline! (A friend of mine graded them as verygood, and suggested I practice a tad on foreshortening, and try inking them using copies!) Had been a commercial art major at one time! Angelique wanted me to post them...so...

Star, we have a rule about uploading pictures over 40 kb to the site. But you can upload that picture to your Photobucket account and either link it or use the [img] tags to post it here

Star, make lots of photocopies! Then you won't destroy your original and you'll have plenty to practice with. (I'd be afraid too! When you make mistakes with ink you can't go back

The first picture of Kurt and Kassi is good, and the last one too, but I particularly liked the second picture. Flight is so difficult to capture, and I think you did it extremely well. Fantastic!!

The muscles and shading are very good. Maybe the tail should be a little longer though? I like the posture - the angle of him kneeling like that is ususual, so it makes the pic more interesting. Good job Starchild!

I liked the face on the teleport one. You do a good job with the shading, I could never figure out how to do that realistically. But, it really brings out the muscles on the face.
