Huzzah, washboard abs and thumbs of steel!

Lately people around me is a bit slower than usual, hope it's not the same here.

Steynedvelvet, be strong buddy! Just breathe, you'll be okay, man!

Lil' Kurt 18 is up!

Sorry about falling off the edge of the earth there guys, it took a long time to climb back up (but what a great view).

You are truly the Mistress of Expressions. This was beautifully done. You draw the adult Kurt absolutely perfectly! I can never seem to get noses right, but you've got it down to a science. Margali's face looked so tender, yet amused and the two kids faces were priceless--especially the boy's. I also liked the antenna set-up. Reminds me of the ancient TV we used to have in the basement playroom...

AWESOME comic! :D :D

WALLACE AND GROMIT RULE!!! :D

HaHA! Love the comic! Rowena stole my line; I utterly adore the facial expressions! And love the plot of it too! Sleeping Kurt is so cute... :P

Yay, Rowena liked 'Wallace and Gromit'!
Obviously a person of taste and intelligence.
And you like my adult Kurt - no fan of the new 'huge chin' Nightcrawler am I-
which is a relief.
:D

I love it! (Of course, being exposed to a lot of languages doesn't keep me from needing to study and work hard at it.)

I totally agree with you there. Can't get by without studying.
The joke is just about how Kurt got his headstart.
I did find through my own experience that if you want to learn fast, get yourself stranded somewhere where no one understands you.
Two months in England and I knew english (also became very good at charades).

Lil' Kurt 19 is up...kind of.
Today (Monday) is actually the rough of something I am currently colouring.
Colour! Yes!
If all goes well (fingers and toes crossed) I should have a three-part Halloween story by next Monday which is actually Halloween day.
As soon as this part is coloured I'll re-publish it.

Yes! We hear so much about that standing high jump of his. Glad to see you've worked that in!

Haha, the standing high jump and his ability to cling to surfaces! It's always great to be able to come back from a work-filled weekend and day to a "Lil' Kurt"! Never a disappointment, and I love this one. Poor Kurt; the fun of Halloween pranks!

Hmmm... *starts planning some of his own* :scratch

Uh-oh, I'm not going to be a bad influence now am I? :P
I kept thinking of a cartoon take John Byrne did waaay back in the 80s, when Nightcrawler and Wolverine met the Alpha-Flight team ("Wendigo" No I don't know the number). Poor Kurt turns around and there's a polar bear. Googly eyes, stand-up hair and he jumped right on Wolverine's head.

You know, I'm starting to notice I only go on the internet just to check your comics strips. I take it in, like a fine red wine, or crack cocaine.

Oh dear, I am a bad influence. Oh well, as long as it's not "crack wine" or "red cocaine" I'll live with it.

Geez do I have some catching up to do. I didn't realize I'd been gone from the board this long.

Love your adult Kurt, better and much cuter than most of the comic book artists IMHO.

And the Halloween comic is so typical kidstuff. I would have loved to see my baby sister cling to the wall every time I startled her when we were kids, :D

Happy Halloween!
And the best of the new year for the wiccans among you!
Parts 2 and 3 of Lil'Kurt 19 are up. Part 2 was up yesterday so maybe some of you caught it.
Let's call my attempt at colour "experimental" and never mention it again.
I feel that we are all friends here so next time I pledge myself to three colour pages in one week could one of you come over and slap me?
Ta very much.:Z
