Yes. I can extend the deadline until the end of the day today (June 2). If that's not enough time, please let me know, but I do plan to open the polls tomorrow morning. Hope this helps!!! Thanks so much for your entry. Best of luck! :D

Ya know, this is when having a dissociative disorder (what we old folk called Mulitple Personality Disorder, or MPD) would come in handy.

I wanna vote for more than one!!!

*sigh* Realizing your human limitations can be a bummer ...

Oh, and guess what folks? My hubby actually read *all ten pages* of my silly opus. He almost never reads my stuff, and definitely not stuff about TheBlueGuy (as he refers to Nighty). So for him to read it was again proof of True Love!!!! I thought it might give him insight to why there are legions of 'Crawler devotees, y'know, what makes the Elf special.

Not as special as Hubby.

Thanks, Rowena, for issuing a great Challenge. I have totally enjoyed all the entries, and laughed a lot too.

Same here, Elfdame! I wish I could vote for more than one.

Rowena, this was by far the most fun challenge yet, and that says a lot because I've had fun with the others in which I'd participated, too.

I think what made this one different is that the theme- basically a day in my life, but mutated, made it possible for my family to become involved like they never had before. I sought input from my kids to make sure I had portrayed the children realistically as well as humorously. All the details of working at a test reactor came courtesy of Mr. Ange. And once I completed the story, we got together and did a dramatic reading of it.

So this wasn't fun just for me, but for the husband and the little ones, too. The family that fics together..?

"Sticks together"

{Sorry, somebody had to say it.}

Maybe we'll record it, as if it were a radio play. :)
