More fun with shellfish!

I had to teach one of my classes "Happy as a clam"
that was fun
our other discussion topics included.... quilts
home movies
"mining folk"
and the last one was we dissected every component and tradition of Thanksgiving
we spent an hour and a half on thanksgiving
are clams really happy? I mean most of them end up in batter at Long John Silvers
it's a sad existance for shellfish
though crab and lobster have it worse
I told them we said it because clams look like they're smiling once they're dead and open up.
they just beat the crap out of them or boil them alive
