Hawkeye in female comic character poses.
Had to share this little article because it's a true gem. Yes, they do make male comic characters physically attractive. Yes they do put them in skin tight clothes. The main difference is in the posing or sheer LACK of skin tight clothes. The cleverest way to show it is how they juxtaposed these.

I linked the Initiative a while back in chat and have to say that it's really quite interesting following the tags for it on tumblr just to see the discussion which goes from other amusing renditions to actual debate on the topic. Some of it can be a little depressing at times as the backlash there has started but at least some people can see how ridiculous characters are being portrayed by the industry which created them.

Welp. Now everytime I look at Hawkeye I break out laughing. And errytime I see a sexy woman pose I imagine Hawkeye in it. ROFL.
