So a man traveling Dutch airlines was caught trying to smuggle "12 peckers" in an airport in Cayenne, French Guiana.

This is the full story of how a man stuffed 12 hummingbirds into his trousers and actually tried to smuggle them on/off planes.
The birds were individually wrapped in cloth and taped up to prevent them from 'escaping' from their sweaty travel container.
