Remembering Peter Falk

Post by Rowena »

Peter Falk, one of my all time favorite actors, died Thursday at the age of 83.

He's best remembered for his iconic role as the brilliant Lieutenant Columbo, one of my all time favorite characters.

He also played the grandfather/narrator in The Princess Bride, gave a truly frightening performance as hitman-turned government informant Abe "Kid Twist" Reles in Murder, Inc., and joined in the race for treasure in A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World...among many other roles.

He will be greatly missed.

"There are worlds out there where the sky is burning, where the sea's asleep and the rivers dream, people made of smoke and cities made of song. Somewhere there's danger, somewhere there's injustice and somewhere else the tea is getting cold. Come on, Ace, we've got work to do."
~The Doctor, Survival
