I gotta hand it to you Freak, that is amazing. I don't think anyone has nailed it on the head quite like that before, thank you for showing me that.
However; Over the Hedge & Kung Fu Panda were both really great. The others by Dreamworks are subpar, at best.

Pixar movies I like:
Toy Story
Toy Story 2
Monsters Inc.
The Incredibles
Dreamworks movies I like:
Shrek
Ghost in the shell 2 (maybe a bit too artsy there)
Wallace and Gromit: The Curse Of Were Rabbit
Monsters Vs Aliens
Yeah, they are pretty much equal to me, though 99% of all Pixar movies are great.
Where as about 60% of Dreamworks movies are quite garbage.

I don't think dreamworks animation made Ghost in the Shell 2, they were just the distributors, and I think they were just the distributors for the american release. Production I.G. and Studio Ghibli made GitS2

Besides, we're talking about Dreamworks CGI films right?
Ghost in the Shell is original animation combined with CGI elements, but still not CGI.
Pixar has one of those too, "Treasure Planet" which they did with Disney. That movie is pretty neat too, but it didn't do well in theaters so so they haven't made another like it.

This of course shortens the list of good movies that Dreamworks has made.

Okay...who did "Finding Nemo"? I liked "Finding Nemo".
I also like "Shrek". My favorite characters: Donkey and Puss-in-Boots
(I love Puss-in-Boots....maybe it's the whole sword/defending damsels-in-distress thing )

If Studio Ghibli did Ghost in the Shell, then I must try to find it. Anything connected with Hayao Miyazaki and Ghibli is good, ie: Totoro, Kiki, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, etc. etc. etc.

Jeremus, Finding Nemo was done by Pixar, and Shrek was done by Dreamworks Animation
Neling4, Studio Ghibli only helped out with making the animation, they had nothing to do with story of Ghost in the Shell 2. Ghost in the Shell is nothing like Studio Ghibli's other movies. Think futuristic sci fi that's driven by action and plot twists and sometimes a bit of philosophy. Atleast that's how I see Ghost in the Shell.

Oh mm hm, those are very classic "I love Ghibli" movies.
I wonder why no one has ever (first) seen the awesome Porco Rosso, it's always either Spirited Away or Howl's Moving Castle.
Here's a small list of the "Ghibli movies".
My personal favorites are Nausicá, Laputa, Porco Rosso and The Yamadas.

Hmmm.....I've actually seen most of those. I would love to see "Tales from Earthsea".
"Nausica" and "Laputa" were definitely good. I haven't seen "Porco Rosso" or "The Yamadas". My favorite is still "Princess Mononoke".
And thanks, steyn! If Pixar did "Finding Nemo"......that may explain why I liked it.

I am a supporter of Dreamworks only because they actually branch out to other styles of film (ex Live action) that and they donate money to the Animation Program at SJSU (current student) with their non-existant school funding.
They both have their good and bad films. Its hit and miss in any company.
