I JUST FOUND MY RING! :D:D:D:D:D it was in the parking lot at a store I stopped at on my way home from dinner. instincts said to check there first thank goodness. normally they would have told me the restaurant first. it's a *bit* banged up on an edge, so I need to take it to get smoothed, but I am SOOO happy! I was seriously ready to cry.

Oh, and now that I'm done freaking out about my ring... our waiter was really cute (has a gf though :() and TOTALLY into broadway shows and musicals. seen a bunch of them already and he's going up to NYC in 3 days to see a few more. gave him my RL myspace and school name so he can come see me in Footloose in dec. :D

MY DRAWING SKILLZ, THEY ARE BACK.

Seriously. I've had a totally dry time with my art since I quit college. Anything I drew was crap, really, really crap, no matter what I tried. Hell, I couldn't even get a stick-man to go right.

Check out the topless RP Sabretooth that I finished just now!

My kids were pretty well behaved today. And very considerate of me too - which was sweet as hell.

I love my kids.

The corset that I'd worn as part of my Halloween costume for the past couple of years is now too big, even cinched as tightly as possible. Losing 30 pounds has a way of making that possible.

I was like the only one who went because it was kind of out of the way and really hard to find. I might have given up but the ad said "denim blanket" and I HAD to have it.

Here's one that can go into both. After months of underemployment, my husband starts a new job tomorrow.

The job? Not as a college professor or nuclear engineer as we'd hoped, but a high school substitute teacher- the job he vowed he'd quit forever.

Steyn's winner banner ... deluxe! LOVE it!!! One of the fun things about hanging out here are the banners and avatars and icons. (Yeah, I'm easily amused.)

I'm gonna be going to reserve my copy of WoW: Wrath Of The Lich King today :D You in chat have probably got sick of me waxing lyrical about it by now, but damnit, Arthas owns my soul. Totes.

Oh! And yesterday I got given a practical solution involving laces on how to temporarily fix my broken New Rock! Of course, because it was practical, I totally couldn't have come up with it by myself....><

Aaaaand I get to see my family tomorrow ^^ It's all coming up Chris! :dance

Esy's presents from NOLA arrived for scummy and me today! :D He brought the box into work and I'm not the envy of the girls from the shoe shop behind me since my voodoo dolls are more kick ass then thier's and I have authentic 'boob-beads' :cracked So wooty-YAY for awesome friends we good taste in presents :D

And double yay for it arriving today, if it had arrived tomorrow I would have had to wait for a whole week for Scummy to come home before I could have opened it, and that would be torture :D

I've had yet another productive and insanely social week. Went out almost every day at least once, and the one day I didn't I stayed home and wrote a letter - that's social, right.

Around here, the weather has to threaten life and/or limb in order for a soccer game to get canceled. Naturally, every soccer player in the area has this little rite of passage.

My son's team won their first game played in the snow.

One of my local writing buddies, to whom I got close during last year's NaNoWriMo, won first place at a fairly prestigious conference for his Western novel. I got to proofread the chapters & synopsis entered, and it really IS good. He's also written a lot of fanfic (not Crawlerfic, alas).

So I am excited for him!
