Took Sarge to the vets and it's nothing too serious. It's an abscess, which bunnies are prone to apparently. I've been given some antibiotics to put him on, if they work I go back and get some more, if not I only need to worry if it gets bigger. So it's not really awesome but it's not ass since he's not having to go in for surgery or anything.

Just brought Sarge back from the vets, he's looking a little sorry for himself but other then that he's okay, fingers crossed he makes a full recovery.

Though now I have the joy of cleaning up bloodied pus from the drainage holes several times a day ><

He has to go back for a check-up next week, and I also finally got around to booking Daxter in to be spayed, juts in time too since we caught him spraying last night ><

When I smashed my foot in the car door, I was in the process of getting gas. Gas is $3.99 in most places here, however I managed to get it for $3.51. :dance

I'm exhausted for the best possible reasons. Over the past four days, between work, getting the kids to school, running in the annual 343 Miles for 343 Brothers, and such, I finished twelve pages for what may be the most important book yet of my writing career.

To cap that off, tonight my daughter was sworn in as a cadet airman in the Civil Air Patrol.

My daughter had a slumber party for her 13th birthday. We all survived.

Furthermore, regarding this most important book that I've started... I finished! Now it's just a matter of hurrying up and waiting for the artists to finish working their magic. And so far, the pages look beautiful!

I finished my final of the Life Story! And it's eleven days until my second appointment at Nottingham GIC AND I may just have the evidence I need to prove I've already lived the RLE, so I can finally lose the bits of my body that make me miserable and be a 100% male instead of 65% ^^ No more being intersexed!

(Without evidence, I'd have to wait another two years for surgery, but with I could be referred within the next 6 months once they've started hormone treatment)

Get the idea I might be excited? Excuse me while I bounce for a bit, will you? :D

Also, minor win - not feeling as shitty as I have over the last few days, so I might actually be able to get back to regularly scheduled madness. But for now, to bed, because I'm exhausted.

According to the bloke I did really well at the baking job pre-interview. I was the first to tun up too. I'm not really holding my hopes up for this though, I'm going up against people who've got 10-20 years worth of bakery experience >< So sorta an astounding ass but I'm just gonna focus on getting complimented for my interview technique :)

For the second since I'd busted up my leg, I attempted to climb a mountain. Last time, I had to turn back about a thousand feet shy of the summit due to my bad knee acting up. This time, enough things had gone wrong, for a moment it looked like I'd have to call the whole thing off. But we worked around it, and for the first time since I busted my leg, I bagged a peak.

Eight years ago today, I asked a very special girl to be my girlfriend. I had no idea what would happen, I was terrified considering I'm gay and I have serious trust issues and I didn't even know if it was going to last. I didn't deserve her, I probably still don't, but eight years ago she said yes. Four years later, she said yes again, this time to me asking her to marry me.

And today marks eight years of utter word-stealing love. In that eight years, we had one rocky moment, and the fact we're together now shows how that went. I love her more now than I did when I first told her, and I will go on loving her for as long as I draw breath.

I love you, Mary, and may we continue to celebrate anniversaries through grey hairs and wrinkles. You are perfect, and I never want you to change. Thank you for everything, my love.

Three cheers for our very own superhero, Elwing! She caught an armed robber today! :dance

* Elwing did something weird today
Fergie: Heya El!
Fergie: What did you do?
Elwing: hi hon
* Fergie finds the best things are described as weird
Elwing: well, at about 12:30 I went from center city to my volunteer job, at the Roma. This means I ride my bike trough the de Keyserlei, over the Astrid Square, on to the Carnot street and then straight on till the end.
Elwing: when I was at the de Keyserlei, I saw this. http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm11 ... G_1710.jpg which is the west side of the train station.
Elwing: in front of the station, a group of men were running, chasing a man wearing a red sweater, carrying a black bag. They were shouting "Dief! dief!" Thief, thief.
Elwing: the man in the red sweater was gaining on them, and was running left on this photo, to the square on the north side of the station, Astrid Square. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-2ZCvojcjYZg/T ... 020404.JPG
Selena: Oooh
Elwing: and I realized they were losing him, and I had a bicycle and could easily outrun him. So I chased the thief. I thought he was a pickpocket or something.
Elwing: so I caught up with him, and pinned him against a wall with the front wheel of my bike. At the grey porn cinema, I think it was. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... lein_2.jpg
Selena: Wow :cracked
Elwing: so the man came to a standstill, and then he took a gun out of the black bag.
Selena: O.O
Freja: Eep!
Elwing: so then I backed off because that was more than I bargained for. But I figured the gun was fake, and I kept following him. He runs and turns the corner where the tram is, and I am right behind him.
Selena: Wow
Elwing: And I kept shouting "Dief!". More people were chasing him, I'm not sure if they were the original chasers.
Elwing: about 100 metres into the Carnotstraat 2 bicycle cops show up out of nowhere, and pin him to the ground, take off his gun.
Selena: Geeze
Elwing: and they put him in handcuffs. The chasing men caught up and were very aggressive. One of them hit the men even when he was in police custody.
Selena: Damn
Elwing: And then the police asked me to tell me what I had seen, so I got late for work:(
Freja: but you got to be a superhero!
Elwing: and they also told me it was in fact an armed robbery on a jeweler's store in the Pelikaanstraat

Mr. Ange found a new job. It's only part time, but still, a small paycheck is better than none. We also got adopted by a new kitten. I let the kids name her. They dug up a Dr. Who reference and named the kitten, Stormageddon, Dark Lord of All. I love my little geeks. Speaking of Stormageddon, I might be heading over to NJ in a day or so.

The reunion with my younger siblings went ... amazingly. I don't think I've talked so much in my life to another family member since Christian moved out. After having not spoken to them for nearly ten years? Best part is, both Chris and I will be seeing them in the New year and they'll be able to meet their other big brother properly :)
