Thanksgiving break starts after school tomorrow, and my family comes into town (still debating whether family belongs in this thread or the ass one...). My birthday is Saturday, so my cousins are taking me to see Twilight and my friends are taking me out to eat.

Mr. Ange and I have an anniversary tomorrow, and the Mr. has said he'll take me to McD's for dinner. (Last time he said he'd take me out for fast food for an occasion like that, we really ended up going out for sushi and a night at some fancy theme hotel.)

I got to hold the newest (preemie) grandboy today. Soooo cute. And when he started crying ... back to MAMA!!! (This is why parents must restrain the urge to pop the little heads off their teenagers: so they grow up, move out, and bring you grandkids. Take note, young folks.)

After waiting five days, my paycheck finally arrived. It wasn't much, but still..!

I also got to try Brazilian Jujitsu today. Got my butt handed to me several times, as this is worlds apart from any martial art I've previously studied, but it was fun!

As I've just posted in the Ass thread and I am disgustingly good at seeing the silver lining in everything (much as I'm not in the mood to be cheerful and happy)....

I'm helping someone out by watching their shop for a few hours. It's cold, but I have a warm laptop and I'm surrounded by incense and hippy stuff as the guy's Hindu. I'm earning money and making sure nothing gets nicked so that the guy can go to a hospital appointment - we're both disabled with similar things, he had a stroke and mine affects me similarly.

Plus Lil's down

And I do have money in the bank - not much but it's better then nothing. And I got a good review on a fic I posted.

Guess it's not all bad ><

Got a new piercing (just on my ear to balance out the other ear but now I have 17 in total), got Christmas presents bought (thanks to scum for helping as well) and now wrapped in purple paper so people will know they're from me. And had nice German food at the Christmas Market
