Someone said it would be good for me to list an activity I like for every year of my age, and I discovered how easy it was to come up with a list of favorite activities that dwarfs my age- without even including some of the obvious choices!

I had to miss two of my German classes when I was sick, and when I went back yesterday I found out that they had missed me! Aw. Two of my classmates told me the teacher (who I completely respect and adore) had asked about me.

A little less than a year ago, my daughter came home from school practically walking on air and buzzing with excitement. Her teacher had just announced she was pregnant, and the whole school was overjoyed.

Fast forward to the end of last school year. My daughter knit a hat for the baby, and she and her classmates made a blanket, wrote and illustrated a book for the baby, and hosted a surprise baby shower.

Fast forward to now. At the weekly school Mass, Baby Maggie was Baptized today and classes were canceled or scaled back so the whole school could celebrate. And my daughter was over the moon that she was selected to give one of the readings at Mass.

I figure in light of all the ass coffee, a little thing like catching a movie, having a fun time shopping, and an extra visit to the comic book store with my daughter is worth mentioning.

It took two hours but I got caught up in class. Also cleaned up the mountains of snotty toilet paper that have been filling my room for a few weeks. Also the heat is finally on in my place which is really really exciting because it's been SO COLD. There are only four weeks left in the term. I'm finally over my cold, more or less. I set up a kettle and some water in my room so I don't have to walk all the way to the dining room to make some tea. (It's cold out there.) I love my Cowon S9 so so much, and deeply appreciate all that it has added to my life. (Watching TV on the subway is now indispensable.)

My friend has been gone for WEEKS but he was in church today!

And we had fun talking about the Deadpool/Spiderman comic. He's the only person I know in real life who I can talk about comics with.

Plus, getting a week off school for thanksgiving is awesome.

Yikes it's huge!

Just taught class 13 for the last time. Still have to go up all those stairs two more times to give final exams, but really, one down!! Teaching class 18 for the last time in a couple minutes. Hooray!!
