Ass thread part.

Ohai 'Scrawlers. I haven't been on for about two weeks now, because I've had no time at all to myself. I'm tired, worn out, worn down, completely broke and at my wit's end because the cafe is literally sucking everything out of me. I'm not coping, and I'd love to go for counselling along with the highest dose of anti-deps and anxiety drugs I'm on but I just don't have the time to and you know...catch 22, social phobic going to meet someone they don't know to try and get them through the social phobia? A self-referral service that you have to phone up to get when you can't actually pick up a phone and talk to your best friend, let alone a total stranger?

Yeah.

Not only that, but it looks like my Chairi has flared again - probably through stress - so I'm in so much pain all the time. I have awesome painkillers for this, but there's two problems - one, I can't take the anxiety pills and the painkillers together within four hours because they do not get on very well, and two, if I take said painkillers because it's a derivative of morphine I am not safe to be in a kitchen (high as a kite) and so therefore cannot cook.

All this is making it very, very hard for me to talk to people, meaning even coming online to talk to people in chat is...nigh-impossible and resulting in me completely breaking down two nights ago in front of my two closest friends because I simply can't take any more.

And on top of this, it's my angel's birthday and I can't afford to get her anything.

It's gonna be alright, I know it is but oh man I wish it would hurry up...

internet connection problems, apparently it'll take another month before it'll be resolved. SCREW YOU SMART VILLAGE! AND YOUR LITTLE DOG TOO!

Boss just showed up... as if driving half an hour each way to work four hours the day after a holiday isn't annoying enough, he has spent the last 20 minutes with the front door wide open trying to fix the handle. It's 28 degrees outside.

Hee. Y'know, I've decided I was stupid to be upset about not working here anymore. The principle of him going back on his verbal agreement still pisses me off royally, but the possibility of freelancing and never setting foot in this office again? That belongs in the astounding thread.

btw, after a trip to the hardware store for a new knob, he's STILL got the damn front door wide open.

So, I went home for Thanksgiving break and woke up the next morning to the camp on fire, thinking that it was just a great way to start off break.

On Thanksgiving, Matt and I wasted about half an hour waiting for dumbass to drop Matthew off, missed our exit on the interstate because construction wasn't clearly marked, and were late to his aunt's.

Friday wasn't too bad, except for we were bitched at as soon as we walked in the door to Matt's house because one of us didn't think to put apple juice in the fridge. Apple juice that wasn't even really our problem because it belongs to Tiffany, who didn't even need to give it to us.

Skip to Sunday because Saturday was actually nice. We went to D&D Satuday night, spent the night at my aunt and uncle's... Matt wakes me up, we go to pick Matthew up, and go to my grandma's because we're having my birthday party, which I have to share with my cousin. Whose birthday was in October. Not that I mind sharing, but I don't know why they didn't have her bday party a month ago.

To top off this break, I had to come back to Chicago, which is kind of suck in general. About halfway here, I realized that my cellphone is dead. Aaaaand, guess what is in Indianapolis. My charger. And, what exactly did I need my phone for? To call home and tell my mom that I forgot my school ID, my CTA pass, my room key, deodorant, toothbrush, and toothpaste.

The last three aren't a huge deal since I can go out and get them, but I kinda need my charger, ID, transportation pass, and room key... Mainly the cards for school. I have no idea how I'm going to deal without the room key, especially. My roommate won't always be around to let me in. And, not having an ID kinda pisses security off... ><

I would like to be able to say I would like to attend Emerald City Comic Con for my birthday without being accused of being financially irresponsible for merely wanting to go.

No puppy for me because the pet store sold the one I wanted, and now everyone just wants me to wait until the summer.

Smart village can suck monkey nuts. How long does it take to fix a fucking problem? Honestly, as an ISP shouldn't they have like a fucking team of people working on the problem round the clock?! Internet connection is their main product, what the hell are they selling if they, an INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER, can't even PROVIDE AN INTERNET FUCKING SERVICE?!?!

Yesterday I had to withdraw from college due to financial reasons. Next week I'll be signing on unemployed and right now I'm trying to find a job which will most likely be another soul crushing retail job since that's all I'm qualified for.

Sorry guys, but don't expect me to crawl out of my hole of misery and become active on the internet again for some time, at least until I'm back on my anti-depressants.

my other storage heater has packed in. So it's -2C outside average temperature and I have no heating. These things were brand new in MARCH the first one worked for all of two weeks. What a load of crap.

So now I have to waste money on my electric heater which costs a fortune until they get of their fucking asses and fix it. And in the mean time, probably get more sick because it's too cold.

So seeing that I don't have much of an internet connection to actually chat with my comrades around these parts, I decided to go ahead and back everything up and start new. So I went and installed a brand spanking new windows 7 on this old kommiepewterbot of mine. It's real purdy, but that's about it, seeing that my wacom graphire3 tablet is just a fancy mouse now, no pressure sensitivy (even with the latest driver), my Genius Colorpage HR7X scanner is an oversized doorstop (even with the latest driver) and I'm busy downloading my printer's latest driver seeing that the drivers on the cd that came with it won't load on windows 7. Thank you Microsoft for another wonderful product.

quick ass espresso. I forgot my e-mail's password. Internet's still broken. HP loves packing 120 mb worth of worthless apps along with their drivers, and internet can't stay connected to download the whole 120 mb, which means I'mw ithout printer as well for the time being. I also scratched my car against a pillar while parking next to the turd that can't park properly, a month after I got my car back from the panel beaters.

edit:also, the 2 gig ram I ordered finally came, and it was laptop memory instead of pc ram. Have to wait longer for that chip now. Atleast if it's compatible with my dad's laptop, then it means I won't be worrying about a christmas gift for him.

Selling the cafe. Got no real choice. Completely heartbroken.

As of half an hour ago, The Loft Cafe is no more.

So, I wake up this morning to finish my art history notes that I'm using on my final and word isn't in my applications. I run a search for it, all my documents come up, and I pick out my notes. They won't open, and it says word needs to be reinstalled.

Also, in the 2 hours I have between art history and painting, I have to finish a painting and come up with another for critique tonight.
