Alright. So I got this new laptop, Toshiba Satellite. It's fast, it looks good, it's awesome...

...And it has a running fault, along with all the other Satellites, of overheating the CPU and shutting down with no warning.

WHY the fuck does nothing go 100% right for me? Why is there ALWAYS something for me to bitch about? I now have to shell out money for a cooling pad. Rawrawrawr.

And just to make it extra sucky, I was downloading and installing my geek version of heroin, World of Warcraft. Because of said shutdowns, I had to restart it several times. Finally, I got it downloaded, and it installed fairly quickly until...

It hit 97%, decided it didn't like me any more, threw up an error fault and died.

We have two Toshiba Satellites and I've never had that problem.

Also, the doctor said I might have H1N1. So there goes our mini-vacation this weekend.

Housing appointment tomorrow, at which I'll be verbally chainsawing several people at the same time as making sure I don't end up losing my flat because of a fucking two-bit worthless stupid jobsbody. I WAS planning on spending this evening relaxing, and now if anything I'm more wound up then before. Why? My fucking connection fucked up because of a lousy broken wire.

For some reason, people in my family have lately seemed under the impression that because I'm getting my EMT certification, they can do things like step on sharp objects or fall and nearly break a bone or five, and I'll be thrilled about the opportunity to "practice."
