And who said anything about a day off? I haven't got a day off. Stupid college. You're set in the biggest Irish community in England and yet you don't have St Paddy's Day off.

Actually, just to be pedantic, St. Patrick's day was Saturday this year; it's moved by the Church when it would fall on Holy Week. And as for festivities, I don't think anyone can beat how I celebrated it this year, so don't even try.

Um ... can I skip the making-out-with-chicks part and pretend to be drunk so Hubby can take advantage of me once the grandkids have gone back to their parents?

And I think we celebrated St. Joseph Saturday; Patrick got bumped to Friday 14th if I'm not mistaken.

So many feast days, so little beer, I mean, time .........

They bumped St. Patrick's Day to the 15th. I began celebrating the 14th, continued through the 15th, celebrated Palm Sunday yesterday (albeit with poached salmon and colcannon for dinner, so it was still kind of St. Patrick's Day), and I'm back to St. Patrick's Day today.

And sorry, HM, unless you were also coordinating Irish music and dance concerts all weekend, nobody's celebrating quite the way I am!
