If the X2 movie was somehow leaked onto the internet before the movie was due out, would you guys watch it or would you wait to see it in theaters? I had a dream last night that it leaked out on the net and I was debating whether I should watch it or not. Personally, I think I'd wait for the big screen version. what about you guys?

I would wait.

1. The quality would most likely be extremely poor

2. It's illegal

3. I actually want to support this movie by buying tickets for it.

Personally, I'd like to get the full Nightie experience, not the little downsized 800 X 600 one.

Also, there are people who worked their butts off to make this movie, and they all have salaries... so...

theatre all the way, for me.

: movie nearly two months before it was shown in the cinemas here!!! I've watched in my PC and watched it again when it finaly came out (on the first day)!! I would do the same thing with X2 (and I really hope I can do it).

If it were posible to get it early online, I'd have to stop using my computer from then until the movie was officially released.

I wan't to see it on the big screen first. But if it's right there, just a click away...

Slightly off-topic but a week or so ago I heard about a bootleg of Harry Potter which was just a digital camera being pointed at a cinema screen. No joke, apparently you can hear people opening packets of sweets.

Well, you know stuff like that always happens. for X2, I'd wait....but for any other movie, I'd probably just watch it online. It costs $9.75 to see a movie at my local movie theater. That's just ridiculous.

My copy of LOR I is still like that!!! And no, you don't ear the other people in the room!!

I'd download it in the event of
a) world crisis
b) PEople actually DID shut it down and it was released after the premier
c) Ticket sales went up after stocks crash
d) 1. I can't get to the theatres because lines (tho I'd wait two whole days before giving up)
d2) Sold out everytime I went and finally just said , hell wiht it. It may be ailleagal, but I would get there, and I would pay my ticket price. I eman, I'd only watch it in event of calamity. In the theatres is wehre it's best. Erynne, you came here on advice on morals an conscense (i ddid not spell that right) didn't you! You want to know if it's ok if you can because you impatient.

To spoil the fun, I usually just buy the novelization. Quick, easy to rewind, bathroom breaks don't make you miss a part...

i did the same, and it was still brill on the (first) day i saw it at the cinema, but i would wait for the x-movie, but i'm having a bad enough time waiting for the two towers, so i'm gonna be neurotic by about march!

my friend had x-men the movie 2 months before it came out in theaters...
i declined to watch.
trailers came out for the movie...
i declined to watch.
there was a special about the making a week before the movie hit theaters...
again, i declined to watch.

i wanted it to be a total surprise and it was definately a pleasant one. i want the same for x2!

it's illegal to encourage bootleggers? strange...
