BAMF or no BAMF????

They've changed a lot things about movie-crawler, I was curious if they were going to keep his trademark sound when he teleports???:ooh: and how about the flash of light???:ooh: has anyone heard anything about it? I kind of hope they keep it...just think, eveyone who knows who Nightcrawler is will be waiting for the

: . I would really miss it if they didn't use it.

. But i hope they do keep it. It would so work. If they kept Wolvies SNIKT trademark Im sure they will keep Kurts BAMF

That was snikt? It sounded more like shink... At least it's better than TAS. The claws went BOOOOOOSH! really loud. What ever happened to stealth?

It's not that I have a very good mental image of what "BAMF" sounds like... Personally, I thought the "Snikt" was pretty good, and I admire the people who make these sound effects!
Oh, and I hope to get my claws on a .wav file of the "BAMF" so I can start up windows with it...

remember in the AICN script review, tho? BAMF was IN the script. plust the film composer commetned on the bamf sound effect. i think they're keeping it.

yeah, but I wasn't sure if that was the REAL script or just another tease...Singer is a demon for keeping people guessing:P

We should send him one of those hypnosis tapes with nothing but

Sound effects are called "Foley". (I'll get y'all talking like pros in no time.) Really good work on Logan's SNIKT - sounds a lot like they samples a sword being drawn from a sheath with a metal lip.

I think they'll do a fine job on

: - it's the smell they'll have trouble getting just right. (Maybe one o' them Michael Jordan nightmares.)

Colossus' change is supposed to be a big deal, too. I'm imagining something like the noise of a giant car crusher, operating slowly - in reverse. (Damn backward masking, anyhow!)

With Colossus I always imagine the sound of electricity crackling. Like he's being iconized.

The sound effect of a Bamf might be hard to pull off so it actually sounds like "Bamf"
Sort of a fast, popping, muffled explosion.

The sound he makes in X-Men Evolution is good, but I dunno how "Bamfy" it is.

Colossus' transformation would be nice as a Crackling/Sizzling sound.

well i personally can't imagine how a BAMF should sound, i think it migth be a low song, like a little burst or something.
and i totally hear the snikts in the movie

I'm pretty sure they'll do a good job. I know Bryan doesn't want to disappoint fans. I wonder what they'll do with Gambit if he ever comes in. He better be hot! LOL.

But how could you tell that there was a whiff of brimstone? I mean.. I don't think that the characters in the movie would be like "What is that stink?" every time a bamf occurs. That would eat up alot of film time...lol.

Too me, the sound of Movie 'crawler teleporting sounded like when someone jumps on those old beanbags. More of a "WHOOF!" than a "BAMF!".

And I must agree with Bamf_A_Licious_Baby, they're not going to comment much about the brimstone. But, then, Pyro did in the book!!
