Soundtrack for Nightcrawler
Yeah, PtoC soundtrack would be awesome in a fencing sequence or in the first Nighty miniseries. Hey, I know this is kinda , but who all is completely psyched about the third PtoC flick? And who has seen the trailer?

i am pretty psyched indeed, in an off topic sort of manner. it looks very exciting, the trailer is very sexy. i don't know who elizabeth should get with. i mean, in my universe jack is undoubtedly gay and turner is, well, orlando bloom.
isnt kiss from a rose by seal is a fabulous song. its very last-dancish. And by last dancish i mean kurt, with storm! ship ship shipedy ship! gosh i am in a funny mood. anyway, crawler is a senstive chappie and he most definately likes it and would put it on a mix tape for his girl.

Hm, I'd say Nightcrawler by Judas Priest. But that would be more if you mess up with him.
Then I always thought Mozarts Requiem would fit, as they have done in X-2.
ANd there are two songs by Helloween that remind me of him:
Time and Hey Lord

"Strange and Beautiful"
Pretty self explanitory.
It is a soft song,
but the title I think fits him.
Well,
Kurt isn't exactly like other mutants....
He's strange LOOKING,
thats it.
=D
He is 'beautiful' in the sense of his character and past.
He came from not being wanted baby by an uber villian,
and still aspired to be a good person.

I got to see PoTC 3 over the weekend. It was fun, but as for the Nightcrawler-ness of the soundtrack, it was only okay in places. I still think old Korngold movie scores, like Robin Hood or the Sea Hawk would be better.
The Dies Irae from Mozart's Requiem definitely works!
I've also tried setting chapters of my stories to old Frank Sinatra or Billie Holiday, and even Bob Dylan songs to different effect. Anyway, I figure Nightcrawler would have diverse and perhaps fairly sophisticated tastes in music.

Nightcrawler would listen to German synthpop because [strike]that's what I listen to[/strike] it's German.
Wo ist der Führer der mich führt?
Ich warte immer noch! Leaving home...
And God is on your side
Dividing cruelty from tenderness
Watching all the time
Dividing fiction from reality

There's a German song but I can't remember who've done it.
It's called "Vater unser" and is just the prayer Our father with some techno in the background

I so absolutely love that song!! E Nomine is a great band. If you like Vater Unser, you should check out Mitternacht too, it's pretty good.
Neither Love nor Evil conquers all, but Evil cheats more.

I've heard Mitternacht as well, I really like them. It's just that I deleted the songs accidentally from my music library and had forgotten what the band were called.
So thanks!
So thanks!

I think "Who WantTo Live Forever" by Queen is perfect for Kurt!

I was chatting with a friend about this very question today actually. I think "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" (The Santa Esmeralda version from Kill Bill especially) is a good song for sword fighting awesomeness, plus- the lyrical content isn't a bad match either.

The first time I heard U2's "Where the Streets Have no Name", it reminded me of Kurt, a la Uncanny Cockrum style. Don't ask why, just something about the melody.

Hmmm...I find 'Dies Irae' from Mozart's Requiem to be pretty good for intense fight scenes! Heh, though that IS the one used in the "Nightcrawler Attack" scene in X2 (or so I call it...)
The piano version of Hikari is kinda nice too I find....

"Pirates" by Francois-Paul Aiche on an album called 'Blue Sky Project' (@iTunes). It was used in the Clorox commercial (in the US)---the one with the kid dressed like a pirate and riding the horse, chasing fish with a net and watching all the ships in the sky. It's only about 2 1/2 minutes long, but it reminids me of Kurt back in the day doin' some swashbucklin'.
And, in light of what's been going on with Nightcrawler lately....."Calling All Angels" by Train might be appropriate.

I have always thought this was the perfect song for Nightcrawler. Just fiddle with the lyrics a bit. Betsy Braddock (Psylocke) sings it, with Kurt and Warren as back-up singers.

I'm Still Here by Johnny Reznik makes me think of him :3

Juggernaut comes running in all "I'm the Juggernaut, I can't be stopped--' WHAMMMM!!! I am sawwing out on his face, doing doughnuts all over his head! Then he's laying there all "Uhh" and I back up and point at him and go "Get back in that ruby, Chump! X!!!"

Live This Life by Big and Rich
I think it shows his belief in Jesus and what it is like to not fear death but welcome it like an X-Man should.

I always had this little thing in my head of Kurt and Logan singing You've Got A Friend In Me (yes...from Toy Story...with Logan singing the Randy Newman bits ('cos he's gruffer) and Kurt doing the Lyle Lovett ones ('cos he sounds younger))...on a really, really, REALLY drunken karaoke night
And of course...there's this
