I would react the same way as I would if Jennifer Aniston called me and said she was in love with me. Somehow I think there's a better chance of that happening than there is of me getting put on Uncanny.

Plus, "Jennifer Aniston's new Beau: Comic Book Penciler Darick Robertson!" makes a much better tabloid headline than "Joe Quesada asks Robertson to pencil Uncanny."

That would never even get on the front page.

I think Darick covers on Uncanny at least would be pretty sweet - probably a little bit better than those Tan covers I've seen so far. Interior would be nice too, but I'll take what I can get.
If nothing else, I've got twelve issues of wonderful art and story to look back on.

I know your style is quite dark for the "mainstream titles", but with dark series like "deadly genesis" being successfull these days, one can remain optimistic.

Heh. I'd give almost anything (not really) for a retcon of the Draco arc. While it doesn't surprise me at all that Mystique would cheat on her titled husband, I'd rather Kurt have a human father. And him being heir to a Countship would only amuse me.

If not Uncanny, I'd still like to see you working on some X-Title.. Ultimate would be great (two different takes on my favorite character:eek).. Marvel has already lost three dollars a month (RIP Nightcrawler:() from me, so putting you on an X-title will be quite beneficial to them (cause I'm so influential and all).. oh well, it was good while it lasted

I agree with BlueDemon...it would be great to see you work on Uncanny , Ultimate would be interesting, too.

I asked Joe Quesada a question at Newsrama, and I got an answer.
I simply wanted to know if there would be a sequel to Nightcrawler's final issue.
The answer is here, at the end of the article.

It's not really a big answer, but it's just enough to keep the faith.

What I really, really do regret, though, is that I didn't mentioned Darick's stunning artwork. I apologize, Darick.

You know what ? You fine Scrawlers should go to Newsrama and ask these kind of blue elf and/or Darick-related questions too, because I doubt I'll be "chosen" in the near future...

Oh, and about taking control of the X-office... That would be a plan...

Well, it was a vague response but somewhat hopeful! Not specifically limited to Nightcrawler though, unfortunately. Oh well; here's to a future with Kurt in it. Keep the hope alive.

It just sounds very non-comital to me. like he did not really want to answer that question. But maybe I am just being pesimisstic (Sp?). I will kepe my fingers crossed that it really does mean something though.

I'm sure Joe Quesada absolutely don't care about Nightcrawler.
But if we keep asking him various questions about the elf and about Darick, he'll perhap's notice this fanbase does exist.

Now that I'm a part of the Nightcrawler fanbase, I need to start building a fanbase for Multiple Man.

It's true! PesterPower(tm) really works. I know this 'cause I used to get my hands on obscure tapes by repeatedly going to every music shop in town and just asking if they had whatever I was after at the time. Like, once a day. After a week, they'd be like, "Yeah, we've been getting a lot of questions about that..." and they never twigged it was me

...though the odds of us coming face-to-face with Mr Quesada are remote, but that doesn't stop us sending postcards

Yeah, I didn't see a whole lot of hints that they'd suddenly offering the X-Men.

A lot of folks are asking in the Winding Way thread. I thought I would give it a thread of it's own.
