Jesus, is that cover ever hot.

And it at least pleases me greatly to have the arc compared to Grant Morrison.

Is this one gonna be a graphic novel soon, people? I don't get to the comic store that often, but I might be able to get the graphic at the local bookstore.

Just for everyone's edification:

Scroll down about halfway.

It's just nice to see another site giving a release date.

Oh, and Darick, been meaning to tell ya... awesome cover art:D
Sail away where no ball and chain
Can keep us from the roarin' waves
Together undivided, but forever we'll be free.
So sail away aboard our rig
The moon is full and so are we,
We're seven drunken pirates
We're the seven deadly sins.

Don't know if it's a good or bad thing...but of all the Marvel titles solicited for May...Nightcrawler is the only one I'm interested it...

Guess Roberto and Darick are doing something right ;)

Yes, Nandy. Same feeling here.
Strange, heh ?
Perhap's it's because we're SO waiting for Nightcrawler#7 that the other titles seem uninteresting to us...

It also seems Marvel wants a lot of female teenage heroines.
Hence, the Shadowcat and the kid Storm minis.

Looks promising indeed. The blurb adds to the mystery. I wonder if the powers that be will be able to use the opportunity to bring some clarity in nighty's by now rather convulted history... Maybe retconning away some of the more impopular parts...":azazel" anyone?:evil

I know The Draco wasn't all that popular (though I personally had nothing against it...except that I liked the idea that Kurt was royalty), but in the right hands I bet Azzy could be quite the interesting villian...

It seems a lot of people do agree on the fact that Azazel must be forgotten.
I hope the Nightcrawler solo series will last long enough to see him back. (ain't I a dreamer ??)

And yes, he could really become interesting.
A demon king... There are not a lot of super heroes's fathers that are THAT important.

But hey, I won't complain, since we'll FINALLY see Margali Szardos. She hasn't appeared during what, ten years ??

He's a demon king? I didn't read that arc, since that was after my interested waned and I became a rabid Fables fanatic. I always liked how he was the son of Count Wagner, because it just made it easier on me. When the lineage of my favorite superhero is as convoluted as my mother's favorite soap opera, I'm not so happy. I'm also very confused half of the time.
Older, smarter, and more sane than before.

Hopefully, anyway.

Actually the whole "son of Count Wagner" made very little sense by itself since Mystique was incognito the whole time....
When the lineage of my favorite superhero is as convoluted as my mother's favorite soap opera,
Yeah, but... What good superhero's lineage ISN'T a soap opera?

It was weird, but I haven't minded it so much. At least TPTB haven't run it into the ground, and mentioning it every other issue.

Azazel is NOT a demon. He's an ancient mutant whose actions inspired the whole idea of demons...

I guess that kinda does make him a demon...but he has nothing to do with God or fallen angels or anything...

That being said...we are getting a little off topic here...and yes...I'm as guilty as any of us...the next Nighty arc concerns his adoptive mum not his biological dad...

Ye's Nandy, but it is legitimate for us to wonder if this character will show up or be mentioned.
Since he was the center of a quite unpopular story, I doubt it, but still...
I hope he won't be forever forgotten.

I hope he does come back... I personally enjoyed learning Kurt's true past in that arc and hope other writers don't ignore it and accept the fact that Kurt's real father is a demon-like mutant:bamf

With a really brilliant writer there may be some hope for Azzy, but his first excursion in the Marvel universe was a bit of a let-down, in my humble opinion. But let's at least hope that rediculous circus story in "Marvel Comics Presents" gets undone or even better, totally ignored. Cool covers though...

I hope we finally get a good look at Stefan Szardos. I have always wondered why and how he got like that. Maybe there was magic involved, or maybe he was just plain mad? Great potential!

I really prefered the Draco story than this one.
(at least, the Draco arc had some really interesting characters, like Abyss and Kiwi Black -Kurt's brothers- )

In fact, no story involving Kurt's past as a circus performer has been important and it's a shame, since it is a big part of the background character.

One more time : I have faith in Darick anD Roberto.

Gah ... that cover's marvoulous. And the summery makes it sound damn interesting. I'm really looking forward to this.

Lucky he doesn't live in his spandex costume in the series else he'd be a block of ice. It makes me shiver to look at him now.

I personally think that the main reason the Draco arc was ... mildly pants was because it was very plot heavy. If you look at the deleted scenes on movies removed because they didn't forward the plot they're quite often the sweetest things which give lots of insight into the characters.
I think that if Daddy Kurt were to pop up now then it'd probably work quite well.

One full month without Nightscrawlers has been long.
A few month without this excellent solo series is almost unbearable, LOL.

I'm glad all the things I like are or will be back.

These new covers blow my mind. :bamf
