Wow. Did the person say where that was on him/her? See now, I like Nighty, but I dunno that I'd do that. I figured if I ever got a tattoo it'd be a nice Celtic knot or something. Hmmm...

I actually think that it is pretty cool, I have considered tats because I have a bunch of scars from an accident that I was in and the subsequent surgeries, but so far Ive been too chicken to commit to it.

I have thought about a series of small "Bamfs" with a little tiny Nighty at the end, but Im not sure that I want to look like a comic book:laugh:

Thanks for the pic, that was cool.

Dis is pretty off topic, but :P If I actually got brave (read: drunk and pinned down by large people with tranq-dart guns) enough to get a tat, I think that the indian "Mahendi" is way purdy, my friend did it to my hands and feet once and I loved it. I would look pretty as a permanant thing too, so that is likely what I would do if I got the nerve.

*giggles* that's cute. Not that I'd get one myself... *idea* how would Kurt actually get a tatoo to show through his fur? I know he had one in aoa but how?

When I was on the wrestling team in highschool I saw someone on another team with the Nightcrawler tattoo where he's hanging upside down (on the back of one of the earlier issues of Excalibur). The thing that made me laugh was that his school mascot was the Blue Devil.

branding? that sounds like it would hurt! Although, I admit, a white tat would look good against the blue fur...

branding doesnt hurt it only takes the hair away..grows back white..(like a horse's freeze brand)

i believe not harming crawlers lol...

Branding? Ouch! I wondered about that AoA tattoo. It would have to be dye!

I used to henna my hands and feet all the time. It was fun, and kinda cool, but it took forever and was messy.

i have heard it does not hurt, and yeah it would probably be the only way to leave a visible mark on his skin aside from scarring... but still the thought... you'd *think* it hurts :p i guess when i hear the term branding my first thought is of cowboys heating up an iron brand in the fire and jamming it against some poor animals flank :( i know it is probably much more sterile and less painful with human subjects... but the thought lingers...

I saw a thing on branding on Discovery channel or something. It's a bit more sterile, but not by much. >.<

I would love a tattoo, but mine's gonna be a more traditional design type thingie-deal.

it's metal heated by flame, how much more steroile can you get? I guess it would cauterize immediatly, as well as kill off the nerves, but im still going for the dye.

i like henna. My friends and I do it a lot:-P

I agree with you bamfette.... while branding may not actually hurt as much as we would think it doesn't rid me of the thought... I'd like to stick with the "fur" dye.... I wonder what would happen if he tried to bleach his hair..... *wanders off to ponder*

Hmm... tats huh? I saw a guy at the Warped Tour with a cute Alien tatoo on hih right shoulder blade. It was a cartoony alien doing the rock on sign. I want one like that. Not an Alien per say but something cartoonish and small. Too bad tats are not allowed religiously for me. Oh well.

I like the idea of a tatto, but I'm too fickle to get one image stuck on me forever. And my dad has tattoos on his arms he got when he was young that have all warped and discolored. He's got a black panther that's turned green and thickened. It looks like a lizard.

Henna's a great thing. I went to Chicago a few years ago during an Asian heritage fair or something and there was this Indian woman in a saree doing henna for like 5 bucks. She was a pro, too. It rocked.
