Just wanted to share my Nightcrawler costume from this year.

Ha! Awesome! Thanks for sharing! It looks like your entire group put a lot of work into their X-costumes!

And you have the crouch stance down perfectly. You could do a Spidey, too.

Very good costume and make-up. What is the costume made of? Did you make it yourself? And they are all excellent. Iceman must have been cold!

Of course he's orange, he is a mutant! Archangel looks like he may actually not be human. Psylocke and Storm are pretty and fierce! What a fit looking lot, are you people a sports club, maybe? Samurai guy has a casual kimono with a glam wedding hakama, which is odd. But still my kudos for getting proper Japanese material and closing his kimono left over right...

Thanks for the comments! I had the costume made, it was too complex to make myself. It's lycra and spandex. For the red part, I went with a liquid metallic red spandex that's a little more shiny in person. It's got a liquid glossy look people couldn't resist touching in person. The black part is color called "black leather" lycra. I went with that because of it's shiny flesh look. It's VERY form fitting, like a second skin. I know not all versions of Nightcrawler wear a belt, but I needed something to mount the tail to, so I found this cool metallic utility belt that was gold, so I of course painted it with red acryclic spray paint, ordered a yellow/black X-men belt buckle online and crazy-glued that to the front of the belt. As for the make-up, I am thankful to have a lot of make-up artist friends, in this case, a neighbor. We went with MAC Cosmetic's Chroma line, it's what they use in "Wicked." I used the Ultra Marine Blue Chroma, then he set it with a setting powder that had a slight violet tint. After that, he brushed on MAC's naval blue powder. After that , he used black to contour the eyes, cheeks and forehead.

Oh, I forgot. The boots are split toe ninja "tabi" boots you can find at any martial arts store. They come in white, but you have to order them from overseas. Black seems more common here in L.A. so I had to buy them and paint them white. Here are a few additional pics:

I'm trying to figure out where you are that a) it was that warm on halloween and b) there are that many hot guys willing to go out in that much spandex. Ooo la la!

While I hate to be the type to over generalize, I can't imagine you are anywhere but California.

I had a really fun halloween this year, but yours looks like it might have been a little more fun. Everyone looks great.

(Anf for what it's worth: for Nightcrawler's blue skin I was more of a Ben Nye girl myself, but I did use a MAC setting spray. )

You called it. Los Angeles/West Hollywood to be exact. Major Halloween party town. Everyone gets into it.

That is awesome! It sucks that these pictures don't show alot of hand or tail detail. They would help with my current project...
