Random Fun Nightcrawler Things
Okay so... I need some cheering up.
I thought it might be cool to start a thread where everyone could put up some Nightcrawler related things that make you smile!
Could be anything: Fanfiction, art, random video, or meme featuring Kurt, doesn't matter. As long as it makes you smile!
Here are some of my favorites!
http://finismundi39.deviantart.com/art/ ... -155607704
http://alexservantes.deviantart.com/
Her entire gallery is pure magic, so check it all out.
http://larbesta.deviantart.com/art/You- ... -156500365
This is a great gallery for awesome NC related goodness as well, but I think that this picture is one of my favorites.
And last BUTT not least: (P.S. this ones not entirely work safe. It's not really that bad, just Kurt butt, but I figured I'd give you guys a heads up anyways.)

Thanks, Trigger, for the great idea.

I thought I'd throw this site up here too. Most of it is actually Logurt stuff, but if you sift through it you can find some really great Logan/Kurt friendship stories and videos as well.
Warning: Some of the stuff here is for mature eyes only.
http://logurt.webs.com/
And as an added bonus, a really cute Nightcrawler felt plushie that looks like it'd be pretty simple to make. I think I'll try to make one myself eventually.

Great! Loved the plushie. The_Lone_Bamf made one ... (digs in Scrawler archives for link ...) but there are no longer working links to it.
It was cute and felty. Use your imaginations, folks.

Different comment, so I hope it's not considreed double-posting.
Found this as Hubby (believe it or not) was digging thru Scrawler galleries. But I couldn't figure out how to display as [img].
How appropriate.

Lol yes so true. How many times could these things be avoided with a little bit of foresight and some proper first aid/medicine?
It's just the "emotional" impact they're going for.
And generally I'm not a big fan of Evo!Kurt, but this was cute. http://alshemi.deviantart.com/art/Kurt-Wagner-45980209
And so was this http://princefala.deviantart.com/art/Ic ... t-53320071. You'll want to full view, because this is one of the few Kurt's I've seen that's actually done fuzzy!

I can't find a picture of it, but I was at Walmart yesterday and they have an Iron man spiral notebook with Nightcrawler on it.....in lenticular! (Except that it also has the Hulk and Iron man with him ....and Iron man's hand is in the way so you can't really just buy the notebook and cut Kurt out) But I can't believe out of all the characters they could have put on an Iron man notebook....they chose Nightcrawler.
(I'll try to find a picture.)

Now if I could just figure out a way to cut him out and slap a magnet on his back, I'd have a really cool refridgerator decoration.

Jeremus, you could buy a Nightcrawler buckle or keychain and glue a magnet on the back.
What this notebook says to me is that Marvel must have BIG plans for Kurt. Why else would he be on the cover of a notebook with two of the biggest, most popular characters in Marveldom?
I wonder why Spidey and Wolvie weren't on it?

It would have to be a ridiculously strong magnet to hold the buckle up, that thing is heavy.neling4 wrote:

I'm really hoping that that is true, but who knows? It may be in response to the recent cartoon, which Kurt was awesome in, but I would think that because the marketing for this particular notebook is for younger kids those "big plans" would have to be kid-centric. A new cartoon maybe?
I don't think that this particular piece of merchandise is foreshadowing of any 616 Nightcrawler plans, but who knows?

Perhaps it was more a "testament" now that Nightcrawler is gone?
Or... could there be something in a movie or cartoon coming out? Who knows?

I bought them yesterday. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them, maybe write fan-fiction in one and keep loose sketches of Kurt in the other.

Tom Brevoort answers a Nightcrawler question on his formspring in a semi-touching way that honors Dave but also avoids a true response (the way a good Editor who wants to avoid spoilers would).
Response:I miss Nightcrawler--the playful, charming, heroic swashbuckler he was rather than the Catholic-who-gets-stabbed-in-the-chest version that recently died. Might we have a book of past 616 adventures or of him as a pirate in the afterlife? Pretty please?
I suspect that Dave Cockrum is drawing that book at this very moment.

I would have considered that more inappropriately smart-alec than "semi-touching."

I don't think that it was meant to be smart-alecy at all. I think it was a very respectful thing to say about a man who is obviously still missed in the comic world.Angelique wrote:I would have considered that more inappropriately smart-alec than "semi-touching."
He has to keep most of the answers to the questions he receives on the down-low so as not to spoil anything. I think that it was handled in a very classy way.

It came across to me as saying we won't get any such book in this life.

I'm also not a huge fan of Evo, but this was fairly amusing to me. This is fanart for Wolverine and the X-men. And, Simpsons style.
