Steyn, that image was done by the guy who did the MAD magazine X2 parody (or so it says at the bottom).

I saw those over on the Marvel Nightcrawler A.T., thanks to Love_of_Bob. Nice collection!

Those are wonderful. I also have a collection of nightcrawler sketches though it isn't as large as that one (and it's not online).

I love seeing artists interpret Nightcrawler. There is something about the character that allows a lot of freedom - to represent him as funny, or scary, or silly, or heroic or what have you. It says so much about the artist to see what aspect they pick and how they choose to render it.

Someone emailed this to me about a week ago and like a silly person I assumed everyone was already privvy to this. I was excited though- when I started sifting through the collection I kept thinking "I bet Dave Roman has done one of these..." and BAMF- there it is! XD
