Should Nightcrawler carry a sword?

I think it would look funny if Kurt fought with a sword in his tail. If he was on the wall or on all 4s, he'd look like a scorpion jabbing the sword at his enemy...

But he has already fought with a sword on his tail, and I think it's pretty cool. The only time I saw it was on Black Sun, tho.

Nd yeah him on all fours would like a scorpion especially if he did a scissor-like motions with his fingers!

i have to agree with frumious bandersnatch, that he should carry a sword but not a bulky sword. it should be a long, whippy fencing sword to go with his agile, flexible uniqueness:naughty

YEAH, he looks kickin' with a sword, DOUBLE kickin' with two. What if he had guns, that would be cool too. Kurt with guns would be the best assassin ever. He blends in the shadows and he can bamf away.

No, Kurt with guns would not be cool, ever. Guns are for killing people - he don't do that. You can smack people around with swords (if you're good), and yes, you can shoot to wound w/a gun but... Kurt should never, ever have guns.

I think he should carry a really long sword! The one like what Sephiroth from Kingdom Hearts whips butt with! But if he had any other weapon I would like it to be Steel Tonfers or Vegtables!

If you're interested in Sephiroth then they're releaseing a DVD film based 2 years after final fantasy VII (the game he was the bad guy in origionally) called final fantasy VII:Advent children. The graphics look supberb.

I can't really think of any other weapon that Kurt would look good with. I can't see him Knife tossing or carrying a shotgun. I think that Kurt carrying a sword looks really natural.

I don't know. I have seen pics of him with a sword(Excalibur) But I prefer Kurt without a sword. But he does seem a little sexier with one. Especially if he fights with a sword using his tail.

Kurt does need a form of offense more powerful than his fists and less draining and deadly than 'porting off bits of an enemy. Besides swords have style and the K-man is all about style! I'd probably settle for throwing knives like longshot or possibly some sort of boomerang as a second choice for him.

I think that his :bamfs are much more deadly that just "porting off bits of an enemy." If he actually got right down to it, and it was a life or death situation (kill or be killed) he would actually grab limbs of his opponents and just

it right off! It would be terrifying for me to see my arm just go, POOF!

I must say I like Kurt with a sword but it also kinda scares me because I liked Kurt in the early uncanny days when he'd sometimes get to do prat falls but prat falls with a sword get a little more dangerous

I like the sword thing though it would have to be small because he's agile anything big would get in his way.

Hey, wow, I just discovered this thread and I'm imoressed. There's no doubt that Kurt should carry A sword, a rapier or if you go for less bulky, a dirk and throwing knives. A costume renovation is definately in order (black leather:love).

Story line: (my pathetic attempt at this) In battle against Azazel's army or whatever, he is forced to grab a sword from a fallen foe and protect himself.

He gets carried away and in defending a comrade, kills another. He is stricken, and afterwords reconsiders his life as a priest. He opts instead as a sort of sword-weilding Robin Hood and swings off into the sunset to save some lucky maiden-in-distress.

I think it would be cool if he carried one sword. But every once in a while you hear or read about him having a sword in each hand & also fencing with his tail. Nope. That would be way too much. That would be worse than Darth Maul with his double lightsaber.
