Bill Sienkiewicz (I probably misspelled that...)
Sal Buscema
Andy Kubert
Todd Knuack
Adam Pollina
Dave Cockrum
Art Adams

I also like most of Rumiko Takahashi's artwork, and although he's not a "traditional" comic artist, I also like Yoshitaka Amano's work as well.

Wally Wood!:D Does that mean you read MAD, or used to when he was there or something?
Vala: "Hello."
Daniel: "What the hell are you doing here?"
Vala: "Isn't this my room?"
Daniel: "Noooo… your room is across the hall… with the… guard in front of it."
Vala: "Ah yes, they do all rather look alike don't they? Anyhow, Since I'm here, shall we make the best of it?"
Daniel: "No, we shalln't."

Not only MAD, Woody was absolutely terrific at anything he did. He did a lot of the SciFi stuff from EC, his 'silver bullet' rocket ships epitomized the spirit of '50s SciFi. But I think for me, the high point was his work on THUNDER Agents for Tower Comics. That remains one of my favorite series from the '60s. He also did some of the early issues of Daredevil, and in fact created the red costume.

I had a chance to work for him for a short while when I first got started in the business. He was packaging three comic strips for Overseas Weekly, a newspaper aimed at our servicemen overseas. He himself drew Cannon, a spy/international intrigue strip, and Sally Forth (he had the name first, guys), a silly adventure strip whose star couldn't keep her clothes on.

I worked on a western strip called Shattuck, named for the hero, a wandering good for nothing who drew slow but could hit anything he aimed at. He wound up being sheriff of a small town (much against his will) where the object was to get the women out of their clothes as quickly as possible.

His passing was regretable, and he remains one of my true heroes from the comic book industry.

He truly was (well still is maybe but I won't get in to that now) an amazing artist who could draw anything, in any style!
It's really cool that you got to work with him.:)
Incidentally, that Shattuck comic and Sally Forth weren't R rated (or worse) by any chance were they?:smirk: Trust me. It wouldn't bother me in the least if they were!:P

Derenick for the correct spelling ;)

And me
Jae Lee
Sean Philips
Igor Kordey (come on, helping out New, taking all that flak, and doing 2 to 3 books a month, come on, plus I like his art style)
Originally from an interview with Joe Q
We had many, many missteps there at the beginning. Grant, more than anybody, suffered from this. Igor Kordey did an incredible job stepping in, and I think Igor almost killed himself filling in. He was doing two or three books a month for us, and I know his health was suffering, but he’s taking a little bit of a break, and he’ll be back in the saddle with some other work for us soon.
Sean Chen is good. Im checking out George Pratt, Mike Grell, and Scott Morse.

Also, Jimmy Palmiotti, Bob Almond, Alex Ross, Sal Velluto, Dan Fraga, just to name a few.
