My Comic Book Collection as of Today.

Post by TelegramSam »

I started reading comic books in the 8th grade, and I've amassed a nice-sized pile of them since then. I was rather bored while digesting my Easter dinner today, so I decided to pull out my comics and make a list and now I'm subjecting all of you to it because I'm evil like that.

For anyone who cares, most of the X-men, New X-Men, and Uncanny X-men books, and all of the Gloom Cookie books were bought off the newsstand at some point or another by me, but the rest were acquired mostly in large random boxes at "junk" shops (many thanks to my dear mother who keeps an eye out for such things for me) and a couple of the Excalibur books and the 80's Nightcrawler miniseries came from the luveryly comic shop Bizarro Wuxtry here in Athens, GA.

I have too many. I started going through but then my computer crashed and I had to format my hard drive. Didn't make a back-up of the list so I've just given up.

Just finish getting my collection all into a spreadsheet so I might as well post my collection. Ya know seeing as being able to know myself and tell other people was the whole point in the first place. ;)

I've got about 890 comics (if I count the single in my trades), still mostly Marvel (60 %) but steadily becoming more diverse as I've discovered Vertigo, Ellis and a few Indy books. Hope to finish off my Transmet collection by the end of the summer and then start of Preacher or maybe The Invisibles. Plus I got to get more Moore (heh, heh) along with DKR and DKR2 and eventually I should probably read Claremonts first run. But anyway, I'm getting ahead of myself (and my wallet ;)), so here's what I gots:
