So, Singer stated that Jean Grey and Cyclops are still up in the air and that Dinklage will not be a CGI character. This means he will probably play Bolivar Trask... He also said he is in negotiations with another character/actor. So who knows? Maybe Nightcrawler will be in it after all!

So, just now, I was searching Twitter for Nightcrawler news, and I saw a tweet from Alan Cumming. A fan asked if he had heard anything about returning as Nightcrawler. He replied simply "nope". So either there is no Nightcrawler in the movie or he is going in a different direction with the character. I am betting the first one. Sad Bob... :(

So let me get this straight... we got Wolverine, Storm, Colossus, Shadowcat, Iceman, Rogue, Beast, Mystique, Prof X (x2), Magneto (x2), Blink, and other non-named characters... We do NOT have Azazel, Nightcrawler, Cyclops, Jean, Angel, Gambit, Deadpool, Banshee, or Havok. I am kind of upset that Singer chose Blink over Nightcrawler... he is CLEARLY a fan-favorite... ugh! I understand no Angel because he sucked as a character the way they wrote him, and Gambit and Deadpool are a Longshot (mutant joke there). But Banshee and Havok should already be confirmed. It is a cryin shame not to have an Azazel-Mystique-Nightcrawler interaction after all that lead up... why include him if you don't pursue it later? Also, Everyone wants Jean and Scott back, but I don't like it... That story has run it's course.

Havok will be there, I'm sure of it. And I'm sure Azazel will show up too. Especially with how they're building up to him lately in the comics.

Jason Flemyng has stated he will not be returning. No word on Havok or Banshee yet...

Then I expect Flemyng to get replaced. Though I also am not sure I believe everything I read (not that I'm saying I don't believe you I'm just wondering about the original source.)

Havok and Banshee... Could be. You never know. The kids who played them would be silly to turn it down.

Yeah, Bryan Singer is an expert at keeping people excited and waiting for more. He has not denied any character from his twitter, so recasts and stuff are not impossible. And I liked Banshee and Havok, so they definately need to return...

I think Lady Gaga would make an awesome Dazzler, honestly... but look at the date. Coincidence?

And I love that image. Looks way better than he did at the end of first class.

Yeah, it was supposed to be an April Fool's joke ...

But somehow... I think the joke is going to be that she is seriously going to make a cameo as Dazzler.

Bryan Singer would do that... just to mess with us... I mean, it is the 1970's in this movie...

Booboo Stewart will be playing Warpath and Omar Sy will be Bishop. 95% sure. Also, Adam Canto is cast, presumably a fire based character like Sunspot. In production now, so Singer will probably be posting photos regularly.

Well, Singer confirmed these three actors already on his twitter account, but didn't specify the roles they would be playing. Then, he posted this vine video...

All the names are accounted for but Warpath and Bishop, leading me to believe Stewart and Sy are playing these characters respectively.

Bryan Singer on Twitter:

What the what is going on here?

Hoult's Hank McCoy was blue and fuzzy at the end of the last film in 196_.

Does this mean he reverted back? Holo-image inducer? Is that 1973 Logan? Or time traveling Logan? He looks out-of-style for being 2013 Logan.

Hmm...

I've talked with others about this... Now, Singer has stated this will tie into both old and new X-Men movie canon, while fixing inconsistencies. Charles Xavier doesn't really "meet" Logan until 2000 when the first film was made. This leads me to believe it is Logan's mind that is sent back into 1973, but occupying the same body. So, Wolverine (Not called Wolverine at this time, mind you) has to find the X-Men and warn/help them with whatever needs fixed in the past.

As for Beast, an image inducer or some other disguising method is a likely reason.

Or, it is possible Singer just told them to pose for a picture to drive us all wild... it's definitely not beneath him...

I can't seem to dig up the quote, but some time ago, when the idea for the next First Class film was kicking around, he (or Avi Arad) stated that the next X-Men film idea took off after inspiration from J. J. Abrams' Star Trek 2009 reboot. The quote was something along the lines of: The Star Trek film really opened up a lot of doors and they introduced time-travel as a really creative way of keeping everything canon while changing it and updating it as need be.

Something like that.

Point is, I've figured since the beginning the objective was to fill in plot-holes left by 2 and 3 and Origins: Wolverine, and to tie them all into X-Men First Class. That said, I'm going with Hoult is Mystique there.

Question is... why would she transform into old Hank and not the current Beast?

Because how would 1973 Logan know/care?

Didn't read beyond this point, but! as much as I love him, think he'd really be a good Nightcrawler? Idea is new to me, so I'll have to think before forming a real opinion. But, GOD, love him.

Okay couple big things...

Trask Industries is made official!

Also, Quicksilver is set to appear in both X-Men: DoFP and Avengers 2!

HOW!? Well read the dang article!

But then... this happened
... what does this mean? How does this bode for the much anticipated, severely needed, unity between the two franchises?

I had been hoping they were leading up to Civil War/House of M, or even AoA (I really feel like they're setting up for AoA here).

Here's who will be playing him!
Image

Totally looks like a Magneto Jr. :quicksilver :pietro
