Y: The Last Man. It's written by Brian K. Vaughn (who wrote Chamber, so it must be good

) and apparently it's great. I don't know because I've never read it. Sounds cool though.

Yep, it is a new vertigo title. Vaughan also did, recently, the Cyclop mini and The Hood MAX title.

Yeah, this seems to be one of those things that is just going to be an underground, word of mouth hit.

I told my mom any x-man related comic, I want it.

Tell me more (cover pics, details, story plots) it sounds cool, and I want to explain it to my mom.

She doesn't get comics all that well....

it's not an X-Men related title... it;s not even Marvel :p

what is is, is every man on earth is suddenly killed, they just fall down DEAD whatever they were doing, all at the same time, all over the entire planet. and this ONE guy, Yorrick, is the last man left alive. the series explores his personal quest to get in contact with his girlfriend (fiancee, really) and the efects on the world of having no men around. no superheroes, no X-men, it's a what if kind of story for the kind of world we live in right now.
