I believe they featured him in the MST3K movie. Called him 'Scrotor'.

It hasn't been published, to the best of my knowledge, but I had it on my late website. I do sell prints of it.

Ok, it's been a couple days since I put something up on this thread, so here are some new character designs I haven't used yet. This first one's called 'Bloodknight' and I hope to use him in a new Futurians series one of these days.

BTW, he's a good guy vampire.

This one's called 'Deathstar'. No, she doesn't blow up planets, she's a villainess in a series idea I once came up with titled 'Sundog'.

Here's the title character, Sundog. Sorry, I don't have a color shot of him around. His spaceship was blasted to pieces--with him in it--by an entity called 'The Dark Empire'. It--and he--were then dumped into a sun. Multidimensional aliens found it, retrieved it and reassembled Sundog from the remains, but had to improvise since there weren't enough matching parts left.

Sundog's obsession is to destroy the Dark Empire. He has his work cut out for him. ;)

This is another new character I hope to use in Futurians, if I ever get it going again. I call her Zapcat.

This one's not a new character, but a rethink of my Futurians character Sunswift. I may introduce this new look if I ever get Futurians going again.

Thank you Dave! :)

So far I only own the Marvel Graphic Novel and FUTURIANS #1-3 by Lodestone. I'm not sure what else is out there.
I would like to see more of that incredible universe.

At the risk of seeming DC-centric, have you considered publishing through their Wildstorm imprint. I think that you'd get to keep all of your ownership rights.
What I'd like to see is DC Direct do the team and it's supporting characters as action figures and statues and such. :lick:

Why not? If DC can revive the old THUNDER Agents series, maybe there's room for Futurians. And yeah, I'd love to have Futurians action figures. :D

Im so happy everytime i find new pictures here.
And NO I don´t want to change it against 5 tons of Kias "art" . (Northy -from Xfan-and me got a diskussion about at least in a german forum)I like the Bloodknight and Sunswift very much.

It might interest Nightscrawlers to know that that infamous sketchbook which I'm not gonna post any of here, includes a number of other, more...eh, intimate (ahem) scenes under this same tree. :smirk::naughty:

This one's a color rough for a piece of art I put up for sale at Southby's Marvel auction a few years ago. The original was big--18x30 or so, if I recall--and though it took in a nice piece of change, it was part of that price-fixing scandal that both Southby's and Christie's were prosecuted for last year, and it didn't bring in as much as it should have.

The coloring on this piece was done by Paty.

My son, Ivan was interested in publishing an art 'magazine' on CD a few years ago. He called it 'Calliope' and hoped to put it out on a monthly basis. Both Paty and I produced stories for him. Mine was titled 'Hawklord', and was meant to be the first installment in an ongoing series.

Unfortunately, Ivan is so into Macs that I'd have to call him a Mac chauvanist. He refused to produce a PC version of 'Calliope', and lost two thirds of his potential sales. 'Calliope' didn't sell well enough to continue, and there was only the one issue.

This piece was a sort of 'teaser' for Hawklord. Somewhere in the house exists a color version of it, and if I find it I'll post that later on.

Dave I wonder if the designers for the Stargate TV series are fans of your art. The Hawklord pic reminds me of the images from the Stargate TV Show. Maybe its just the Egyptian influence.

I'm sure it's simply the Egyptian influence. Paty and I are huge fans of ancient Egyptian art, and I'm sure the producers of 'Stargate' were too.

I don't seriously believe they bought a copy of 'Calliope'--Ivan's sales weren't that great.

Well, seeing as the plot of the Stargate Movie revolved around the Egyptian Gods being aliens exploiting a primitive species, I'd agree with the Egyptian Art thing, too.
